To all Dancers out there!!!!
Hey Folks!!! I am brand new to this forum and looking forward to meet many of you fellows and lovely ladies!!
I have been listening to Electronic music for the past couple of years...predominantly Psy/Goa and DnB...I put up this post for 2 reasons!!
1) I am looking for other people on this forum that are into or enjoy listening to Psy/Goa trance music....This will help me meet more people in a scene that is really taking the world by storm these days!!!
2) For those who are not very aware or informed about the Psy/Goa scene or perhaps have some misconceptions about the atmosphere/environment/professionality or music etc... I would love to share experiences and maybe get to know what kind of music you guys listen to so that I too can learn about the different kinds of GOOD trance and electronic music out there.
LOL DON'T WORRY I AM NOT TRYING TO BE A MISSIONARY AND CONVERT ANYONE 
JUST LET YOU SEE HOW WE IN THE PSY SCENE LIKE TO PARTY!!!
AND OF COURSE I AM ALWAYS LOOKING TO MAKE NEW FRIENDS AND SHARE EXPERIENCES!

I am sorry and I do appologize for all the way Psy trancers have fucked the rest of you over.
I realize here in america ( a country to which I am very new) most people that listen to Psy are in fact hippies/stoners but in other parts of the world Psychedelic Trance has a much more open minded vibe.
Music is the one thing that unites us! We all have different opinions in politics/society/economics etc etc. But we come together just for the music.
Some of us do share similar lifestyles and views...but then again you see that in other scenes too right??
As for Psy ppl all looking like Goa Gil...I think that is far from the truth. You may have had a point 10-15 years ago but nowaday Psy has reached too all kinds of people from all over the world. Army people/ Business people/ Celebrities/ even Prince William!!! enjoys psychedelic trance music !!!
Please people this is the music of the future!!!
I ask all the naysayers to open their mind just for a little bit and see what it has to offer.

I was in London this past summer...rocking scene happening there at the Psychedelic Church and a couple of other places ... don't remember the names tho lol!
I've had many good nights listening to psy.goa in my time, and although I can say with much certaintly that these are far form my favorite genres of music, they can be entertaining.
The best times I've had immersed in this music have been outdoor music parties in the forest, combined with complete and utter smashedness. In a straight state I find this music extremely boring, but with the right people and atmosphere it can be fun.
Many psy fans you meet have lost too many braincells, although this skanuga fellow appears to be functioning okay.

To me truly honest I too have seen many friends lose many braincells.
In the Psy scene we like to say "They flipped out"
But my friend, You are in one of the biggest Psychedelic Havens,
I was at the Voov festival in Germany last year, and it is in a similar forest like setting you speak of.
The vibe was great the people were great! And Germany was great!
Unfortunately , Americans seem to have a very xenophobic attitude towards Psychedelic music!
I think it is out duty of the trancers in America to expose the scene for what it. Psy music, it self is so entertaining that you just don't NEED any drugs to go with it.

Hey y'all, I'm back!
It's really funny to see the different directions this post taking.
I did not know people are so against psy music, within the EDM culture 
But I have realized that many Psy people can be real fucks who think they are too cool for others, and the opinions and views of others, However 
just from this thread I can see there are a few people like that who have really shown the conservative side of themselves. (I'm talking about the ones who posted stupid childish things agains Psy music)
People psy culture is all about Peace and Love sometimes people do too much drugs and they forget this but all in all I have seen people become so much more peaceful, yet confident individuals, within this new and rising psychedelic culture.
However people like Dj JasonF mean well, and I respect him for expressing himself, just don't get too emotional about it bro
After all we still party hard on our own right?? Don't worry about the naysayers! By the way man...Big Ups to you and all others in Greece...I've heard the scene is really picking up there despite the problem with the police. I've also been seeing many new artists from Greece in several compilations. Hope to come and party with you guys soon!
And for everyone else! Don't worry! Soon Very Soon!!! We will all be partying and dancing together...with out without drugs...All scenes will come together...

i like the psy ppl and i go to psy parties sometimes but i dont really listen to psy music. im just against ppl that see things just their own way and never try to understand or find the deeper meaning of things.
AND YEA THE PSY SCENE IN GREECE STARTED AT 1990 WITH GOA AND MORE AND MORE PPL LIKE IT EVERY YEAR.

By the way, don't feel dumb for asking that question, I wish I could answer it but I don't have enough expertise to.
Aura is something that is scintifically proven, and it is not just psy ppl (psy ppl only like to talk about it) but it is the mystic sages and shamans that use these things in there life.
It basically something like everyone has a energy around them called aura, and if you can understand it , it can help improve your life and maybe even heal you from things like cancer, but I don't know much about it. People that do LSD are of course, very fascinated by things like this, coz when they tripping they probably catch a glimpse of things like this
Anyways, you can always learn more from reading books
