Sander Kleinenberg...

yo people,

alright, well, i must admit i've always been a little hesitant to check out sander's stuff...i dunno why. i don't really like straight up tribal / prog stuff, but i really love a lot of his older production work...especially some of his remixes...i.e.

Sander Kleinenberg - My Lexicon
Sander Kleinenberg - Sacred (Sunrise Mix)

Oliver Lieb - Subraumstimulation (Sander Kleinenberg Mix)
Ashtrax - Helsinki (Sander Kleinenberg Mix)
Royksopp - Poor Leno (Sander Kleinenberg Mix)
Sasha & Emerson - Scorchio (Sander Kleinenberg's Scorched Mix)

etc etc..

but for those that know him a little better...is there anything along the lines of these tunes of his that i'm missing? especially the remixes...he did that prog house sound perfectly...i love these tunes..

anyway,

a little help?

Definatly check out some of these tunes possibly if your looking for Sanders sound...

he has played songs like Joey Beltram - Energy Flash..and that has a detroit techno/minimalistic techno/house feel to it..so his style varies alot. right now hes got this super sexy, stylish house feel to his sets. i never really caught on to his productions, although My Lexicon is and always will be one of my all time favorites.

EDIT: Check out Sanders song: Sander Kleinenberg - The Fruit

nice song

EDIT: nvm i dont like that song i listed...it was Skai - Mir Geht's Gut i was talking about

Posted by Floorfiller on Oct-06-2004 05:39:

yeah i listened to all the samples of that new cd online...some good stuff in there...i guess as always...i'll just have to start dling his sets and weed through what i like and don't like haha

Have a listen to 'Buenos Aires' and 'Repeat To Specify'. I don't know much about his sets, somebody else will help you out with that one, no doubt.

Rasta

Sup Jason,

dude, Sander K is pretty damn interesting.
I was also hesistant towards hearing any form of prog... but sasha's involver really opened my eyes a bit (even though he's trying to break away from any form of whatever edm definition is out there)...

Sander K's new cd is awesome
very danceable

these are my fav tracks from it.

o8. Infusion - Do To You In '82

11. Planet Funk - The Switch
(King Unique Pushin' Vocal Mix)

those songs are great man. Check'em out!

Dude, he plays Vinyl here in a few weeks. I am going for sure. You should think about checking him out. Fantastic vibe when he plays live.

Check out Junkie XL - Don't Wake Up Policeman (Sander K mix)
Sander's - 4 Season's EP (includes Sacred (Dub) and My Lexicon) Volume 3, I believe. Sander did a nice mix of BT - Somnambulist. Sander's Convertible Mix. Most everything he touches is golden, if you ask me.

Posted by nchs09 on Oct-06-2004 16:23:

mmm i like the song united in rythm but some |337 ta said something about that not being a sander production or something

Yeah I love Sander, but I cant really answer your question FF- SK rocks cause he plays stuff across the board and is always fresh and different whenever I see him, but always banging. If you can catch him in a 5 hour set tho you cant be disappointed by his immense talent in building a set that goes somewhere and contains everything from house to prog to trance and even hip hop. my fav set from him is prolly Sander_Kleinenberg_Live_At_Partynight_11_23_2002.

It contains some killer tracks like Wavy Gravy and Porters mix of Amber-Anyway. His EMs are almost always brilliant as well|

oh and my fav remix? perhaps the unreleased JT and Madonna tracks, but i think Lamya - Empires (sks audio paranoid rmx) is pretty fucking killer. subtle but very intricate|

System F ft. AvB - Exhale[Sander Kleinenberg remix]

you'd like that one.

mate get both everybody 1 and 2, theyre both great albums, a true showcase of good progressive, as opposed to a lot of shit that gets broadcasted on the net

Posted by biznology on Oct-06-2004 21:40:

NuBreed is quite nice if you can listen straight thru...

Sander is also the king of crazy intro tracks|
