the whole light melody thing is nice but it just feels like it's lacking something.

It sounds really nice. But in my opinion, you should work some more on the drums. Also try to figure out if you should change the synths in this one (the strings particulairly)

Not bad at all, beautiful melody. I agree though, I believe the track would much benefit from some EQ boosting in the lower and mid range frequencies.
