bathurst

well its that time of year again where the petrol is flowing through our veins and all the yobbos unite as the two warhorses try to conquer the mountain. murphy couldn't repeat his amazing qualifying sucess leaving steven richards and jason bright to battle it out from the front at the start which they so kindly did, letting a ford 1-2-3 start to the proceedings. jim richards has just smashed into the wall, poor andrew jones has had his weekend quite literally turn topsy turvy and peter perfect is going to watch his last bathurst from the pits.

anyone else watching the action? im hoping ford will break their 5 year drought and my man ambrose will stand tall at the top of the podium. who will be the victor? whos machine will race supreme??

on a side note mark webber has qualified 3rd fastest for the japanese gp w00t

Cleland had a pretty big off

Btw, has everyone collected their 10 mitusbishi evo keywords?

Posted by Trance Nutter on Oct-10-2004 03:53:

It sucks at the moment, I've got so much uni work to do I'm splitting my time between study and Bathurst.
Murph out the front last time I looked - GO YOU GOOD THING!

Webber third on the grid, hopefully he doesn't baulk at the start like at Malaysia

My ten Mitsubishi evo keywords:
Your crappy car has about four cylinders too few .

(I'll count the smilie as a word)

Bright just spun off - bugger.

Exit one Kangaroo!

Poor Richo's, they were doing pretty well only for that to happen.

That Kangaroo got hammered!!! awesome replay of it LOL.

Go the fords!

I was up there yesterday for the day, was pretty good. Always fun watching the yobbos up the top of the hill absolutley hammered off their tits LOL.

F1 has begun!

Posted by Trance Nutter on Oct-10-2004 05:36:

Webber stuffed the sart - sown to sixth by the first corner, appears to be holding his spot after the 1st lap though.

Massive crash between Tander and Bargs at Griffins Bend too.

F1 is a great spectator sport live. I remember going to the 94 & 95 Adelaide GP, and ever since I've been hooked. They were just so fuckin loud and fast

But nothing compares to drag racing (top fuelers & jetcars). The air pressure from standing right on the quarter mile line as they fly by at 500km/h is:

Posted by Philby on Oct-10-2004 07:10:

argh
damn ****s
haha fucken murphy the kiwi bastard!! and fucken rick kelly, already has 2 bathurst wins at 21, all he needs now is for his balls to drop.

omg the kangaroo!! that wasnt good...although not as bad as the hare getting "collected" by a car a few years ago in europe...

meh
at least ambrose still has the championship lead! small consolation

ps

fuck off soups
