Streaming Your Set Through Shoutcast

Probably no dj's will listen to this but I've found out if you'd like to stream without wasting a ton of bandwidth or you have like isdn then you can use 64kbps mono. 64kbps mono is one channel, but It's very hard to tell the differene between 128k and 64kbps quality, except the 2 channels.

I have a test stream going if you'd like to take a listen

Very true, there is a huge difference between 64 and 128 kbps. Mono and stereo aren't the same either... There is a huge quality difference between 128 kbps-Stereo and 64 kbps/Mono.

But if you want to save bandwith instead of providing a quality stream, it's the way to go...

i agree..if theres an instance where bandwidth is an issue, then 64kbps is the way to go
