Wonderful win for England!! Rooney looked great Beckham with a marvelous goal. Looking forward to Wright-Phillips possibly starting on Wednesday.

Also for my home nation of Switzerland a very disapointing result in Isreal. Better luck next time boys.

I didn't like Spain's match. They missed many good oportunities. They had more men on the field, so they had to win. Good goal by Raul though, even though he was left alone inside the box.

Colombia shoudve beaten paraguay easily, they outplayed paraguay the 1st half and missed some golden opportunitys, instead they tied and are still stuck in the bottom

p.s fastmp3 you manage to piss off particular people in every post do you lol.I agree the Stage right now in concacaf isnt all that (look at mexicos group ) but the next round will be at least a bit more respectable.

Posted by fastmp3 on Oct-11-2004 01:56:

lol there's some provocation in my posts i must admit it's done on purpose so people can react !

just like in normal life when you meet someone else cheering for the other team , you try pissing off the other one as much as you can

Argentina is looking good. Figueroa scored two great goals, of course, the first was better.

And Brazil is Brazil. It's like that. Top of the table. Looking good.

after a very decent first half where portugal played well, scored 2 goals and missed a few more, the second half was absolutely horrible starting with a stupid error from paulo ferreira giving them the first goal. tactically portugal went to shit with the substitutions, lets just say we were playing 4-4-2 with 4 central midfielders to top it off, a far away freekick passes by everyone and ends up in the net, with the idiot ricardo that moved way too late blaming it on the defence

horrible second half, horrible result, there goes our team reputation to shit again

Austria 1:3 Poland !!!

Not a very good game by us, but luckily with help from the Manninger we've scored 2 easy goals and then the 3rd one from counter attack in last minutes (playin' 10 players against 11 )...But 3 pts earned, now hope to see next win against Wales on Wednesday!

A Great defencive game, and a deserved win for Norway. Tough game with lots of hard tackles. Scottlands performance was poor for a home team..

Posted by fastmp3 on Oct-11-2004 19:46:

sorry but norway develops THE MOST BORING style of football , very rubbish

I think it was a thoroughly professional performance on the night from us. The conditions were awful, winds of 30mph gusting upto 60-70mph and heavy rain, made it a levelling factor. Azerbaijan were organised & up for it, though their keeper looked dodgy. End of the day 3 points is 3 points and it gives us a chance to secure qualification in double time

keep dreaming

We've only goto go away to N.Ire & Wales now and neither of them scare me at all, with 4 home games that we should win, I think you'll be hard pressed to catch us unless there is a monumental cockup
