bad breath

the guy sittin beside me is a reall nice guy, but he has the worst breath on earth!

it's horrible!

seriously, any time he comes over to my comp to show me something i have to turn my head the opposite direction.

that's pretty much all i have to say

you could offer him some breath mints or gum to hint to him that hes a smelly bad breath mofo.

apparently bad breath comes from germs on your toungue.. he musnt brush his toungue when he brushes his teeth. i can see why... it makes me heave like fuck when i try... im not squeemish or anything, but theres sumthing about brushing teeth, or watching my friends brush, it proper goes thru me

yeah, tell the d00d to brush his tongue. if there is a nice little white layer on his tongue, then he doesnt brush it. if your tongue is clean, your breath wont stink...

i heard this before too..

humans are natural herbovores (spell?)

dogs are canrivores (spell?)

if we eat too much meat, out breath will smell.
if dogs eat too much veg / non meat, their breath will smell

Bad breath can also be caused by illness. People that are sick tend to have bad breath.

yea you get that "sick breath" with that nasty film/taste on your tongue that never goes away. but when i'm sick with a cold, i make sure i don't breathe on people and i chew gum the whole time.


anyway, he might just have gum disease...like gingivitus. in that case, the poor guy can't help it...well maybe he could have if he had better dental hygene to begin with. if you know him quite well (as a classmate, not like a best friend)and feel comfortable saying it, just be nice and tell him. he might appreciate it and not realize it at all.

i don't think i have bad breath because i brush, floss, mouth wash...bla bla...

but sometimes you can't help but wonder...i mean...i can't really smell my own breath...that whole breath and whif thing don't tell me nothing

i have bad breath a lot. i never knew it until my current boyfriend cause he actually tells me. now i do a lot to work against it. halitosis is usually caused by bacteria that grow in the back of your mouth and on your tongue. to get rid of it, you need to at least floss and brush your tongue. i also got a tougue scraper since brushing my tongue makes me gag. plus, regular mouthwash doesnt do much to get rid of the bacteria cause they arent soluble in alcohol or something. you need to use an oil based mouthwash like tea tree oil or peppermint oil.

with all that in mind, i dont think i could tell anyone they have bad breath. the only reason i can handle hearing it from my bf is cause i know he cares about me (plus i breathe in his face often enough...)

We're actually more carnivores than anything else if you compare our physiology to other species. But behaviorally, we're omnivores (except for vegetarians). how do people not know they have bad breath.....that i'll never figure out.....your fucking nose could not be any closer to your damn mouth, how much closer do you need it....

nonetheless, I get bad breath at the worst times.... After about 15 beers and 2 packs of cigs, it attacks.....which ofcourse is at THE CLUB where you gotta stand 3 inches from womens faces to hear and talk.....

Omnivore is just a nice term for scavenger.


Bad breath, sometimes called Halitosis, is caused by food particles in your mouth that have rotted. They can be on your tongue, on your cheeks, or in your gums. This is why it's important to brush each area (yes, they even recommend that you brush the insides of your cheeks). Breathe mints are usually only a temporary fixer, because the food is going to stay there, whereas the mint will go away.

Gum disease also leads to Halitosis.

some needs to invent the bad breath alayzer...you breath into it like a cop breath alayzer and it tells you if you have bad breath hahaha...

i love my boyfriend's breath...i know it sounds weird. you know how everyone has their own smell to them w/ their own breath...like the breath that comes out of their nose when they breathe? hahaha i love it, i wish i could breathe it as my air, but i'd die. smell is so important to me when it comes to being attracted to someone. i don't even like it when he wears cologne...he smells the best when he hasn't showered in a day or shaved...it's like a signature smell. i dunno i guess i'm just a dog. it's always been that way with me and my boyfriends...gotta smell good without all that other stuff.

next time he/she is near. take out some gum/breath mint and take one yourself and then offer them one.
