PvD at Vinyl??

Ok my cuz got an email from the guy he was working with for the World Friday nite party and this guy said that PvD was booked for "the third week"....I'm assuming he means Oct...which would be the weekend of the 20th...can anyone confirm this? I would literally die if Paul comes here! It's been soo long!

You got poor information, Friday Oct 19th, PVD will be in San Francisco(Nikita), and Saturday Oct. 20th he'll be in Denver(Fillmore Auditorium). This info was gathered from PVD's official website. YOu got Tiesto on the 20th at World regardless.

havent tiesto's sets been kinda weak lately...not sure if he is worth the 40 bucks and the hassle of going into mid town!

oh and about my info being poor...the person only said "the third week" and didnt specify which month...I assumed it was this current month....I said I assumed it in my first post...plese read better before you try and flame me!

im not sure about tiesto's sets anymore. from what everyone was saying was his set at kool haus in toronto was unreal. i hope some one recorded it

I heard Pvd's agent are currently under negotations, and he will be at roxy sometime in the future, but definitely not this month.

I highly doubt he'd every play at Vinyl.

Since Pvd will be in the states in a week n a half, its already too late to stop by New York no matter what club it is.
Its a longshot, but i expect him here the next time he tours the states.
Roxy is such a cozy club, i havent been there in 1 1/2 years. Where Pvd is - Im there too and hopefully this TA NY posse will be there too.

I sent Markus an email asking when PvD would be back in NyC. He said they are still under negotiations and that he wouldnt be back till 2002! WTF! Is Paul more concerned about getting $$$ then anything else! I don't know why he would not come back to NyC for almost a year...seems kinda weird to me.

they will even do a Vandit Night here he he he.. =p

was going to be this year but cancelled due terrorist.. damn them. the event is going to be next year and will be 18+

would be very cool for NYorkers to come.

I don't think $ is the issue. First off he hates NYC...he said "NYC is superficial". Plus He's very picky about what kinda system he plays on.

I remember reading in some magazine a while back that said that Paul liked spinning at Twilo bc he felt the crowd was more receptive to his experimenting with sounds...diff genres...ect...thats why some of his sets had a diff tone at Twilo then say at the Love Parade. I'm not questioning your words I'm just trying to understand the whole process of how he thinks. B/c he would spin an awfully long time at Twilo....for someone who hates it you would think he would spin a short time. Or was his contract at Twilo for a specific amount of time? I mean NyC is superficial...look at the majority of the clubs where you have to get decked out in order to go and its all about the labels on your clothes and who does your hair and how much you make. Oh Daphna...I saw someone from Twilo's old management at Vinyl behind the ticket booth. Is there some connection between Twilo and Vinyl? I dunno what position this man had at Twilo...but I had seen him plenty of times going around the club and going in and out of the door that lead to the ticket booths. He always looked stressed and stuff! hehehe Anyway just looking for some info...thought maybe Vinyl and Twilo were possibly connected and I figured who would know the best and that would be you. Thanks for any info u can supply!

If NYC is superficial, what is Miami? He contradicts himself, if that statement is true. I can't go by what anyone says on here, because everyone seems to have their own story. I know this much PVD won't be in NYC this year, and I'd rather see him in sunny warm Miami over cold NYC anyday.

PVD has said numerous times that he loved playing at Twilo but then just recently he called NYC superficial. Having seeing him in Boston & in Ibiza he was extremely animated...smiling ear to ear. At Twilo he was very stoic. Mike Bindra offered him a monthly residency, he declined b/c he thought no 1 would show up every month.

Kelly, Mike Bindra Twilo's manager has taken over saturdays, he's responsible for bringing all the european talent. Many of Twilo bouncers now work at Vinyl. Couple of months ago I went on a fri & there were huge disco balls hanging everywhere.

WHUT!!! He thought no one would show up monthly when there were lines around the block to see him every other month! Does the man smoke crack!!?? I don't think he knows how dedicated his fans are here in NyC.
