be back in 48 hours with a couple of comments...
IMO your mixing is very good. I didn't pick up on any flaws.
I like how the the track selection is a little ecclectic. Pulsar - Cloudwalking brought back memories.
I really luv these tunes: MMDC - No more rain (Shane 54 remix), Mark Norman - Rush (Magik Muzik), Jono grant vs Darren Tate - Now is the time. Very, very nice.
I really look forward to more sets. Thanks for sharing.

Im going to have one mix a month on www.crystalclouds.com however that really depends on how un-lazy i am
think im meant to do one second saturday of every month,u should check out the site theres loads more mixes by other djs
thanks for the tip. i don't know for how much longer i'll have int access, but pm me when you get your next mix up. if i'm still around i'll definetly check it out. cheers.
cheers spaceyorange will do that...ive a few drum'n'bass mixes on the net but i don't suppose u would be interested in them
yeah, not my thing anymore. i haven't listened to dnb since roni size's album came out back in 97. thanks though.
I liked and I didn't like...
I liked but the pproblem was that I like that witness in wonder track so much that everything after seems like a bit of a let down.
so what u mean is i should've played 4. Witness of wonder - emotion in motion (Atcr) towards the end?
each to their own an all that but the tunes after the aforementioned track blow me away at how good they r esp cloudwalking but as i say each to their own.
Anyway thanks for the comment!!
but what did u think of the mixing?(which is more important for me
)
im downloading it now, post back within 24 hours

Hello there. I listened to your mix while I was doing my work the other night. Therefore, I didn't pay much attention to the mixing. Let's just say I was just listening to the tunes undermining the mixing. Sorry, good track selection though.
But I listened to it a couple of times more today. I like it. Nice and smooth transitions. I would continue complementing your set but I'm no expert in what is considered top in the mixing world. All I can say is: mad props man!

| #1 rule is always that taste is in the eye of the beholder. All I can do is relate my own personal experience, and as I said that song is such a highlight for me auraly that its very hard to top. If I were a dj then it'd be the type of song I'd reserve for finishing a set. But if you feel it can be placed elsewhere in a set for your ears, then I won't try to convince you that my experience is more valid than your own. Room for both in the universe As for mixing, i'm sorry but i'm too ignorant to really comment. Transitions were natural and unobtrusive. |
