from cd 2 of Gabriel and Dresden album called Bloom (in stores now) hehe
so anyways,
here it is

Track Info:
Genre: Melodic Prog/Trance
BPM: 133
Track Length: 5:16

*UPDATE*

Sunquest

PS: ive decided to keep the vocals because without them its just too empty of a track, if u still want a non vocal, then request it, ill c how many want it then ill share a non vocal too....

Sounds quite nice. Not a fan of the vocals really but that's not really your fault. Synth sounds dry in some spots. Bassline is really nice. Finish this for sure.

Posted by Tim_G on Oct-12-2004 23:30:

Keep up the good work bro. Maybe tweak the vocals a little. Some parts are off

Finish it!!

please sunquest dont use your talented producing skils on this track. that has to be one of the worsed vocals i've heard in my life. i've heard my sister singing in the shower better than that, what were they thinking.

but as always your production sounds tight, just loose that dam vocal

Posted by Tim_G on Oct-13-2004 00:13:

Jes has a great voice.

Posted by Sunquest on Oct-13-2004 00:14:

hehe thanx guys
ok ok, ill lose the vocals, i wasn't intending to use them anyways, ill make it non vocal, maybe just use 2 words or something...
just added the vocals for fun
sowwy

but i really loev the vocals, u should hear the full lyrics

Posted by Tim_G on Oct-13-2004 00:17:

Yeah, add some teasers in there. I think that would be cool

try a whiteroom style approach, i love the vibe here, very relaxing . bassline is great.

will wait for this for sure.

i really enjoyed the bassline and the sfx. the bassline sounds almost like holden.

the melody seemed to lack direction and a theme...

Posted by pho mo on Oct-13-2004 06:28:

very nice tune there again, sunquest. i think the vocals sound great, and hope that your incursions into diversions do not continue too long! but i'm just saying that because i like the "sunquest sound."
the only feedback i can give is i think the vocals are obscured a little too much by the really bright saw synth, especially around the 1:18 mark - make those vocals soar!

Posted by Thunder5 on Oct-13-2004 06:35:

Heh. this seems to be rather nice..

And IMO the vocals fit fine.

Finish this off..

First of all I LOVE Motorcycle - Imagination (Acoustic Version) and I was hoping that I would soon hear a trance or prog remix to this and I'm thankful that you did, but in all honesty I don't think the music fits well with the music.

Was this song based around the vocals or where they added suddenly? I think the track w/o the vocals would be nice.

You should make another effort of making music that focus around the lyrics...make the vocals stand out and harmonize with them with the synths. I think if you did do a remix to "Imagination" that it could be great, just incorporate all of the lyrics and make sure the music is harmonic with the vocals. Good Luck

thanx for feedback guys, to be honest i was making an imagination remix
but it came out like this which sounds better, so i will take out the lyrics dont worry, maybe ill remix imagination fully one day, when the acapella comes out...
tnx again

I like this quite a lot, you must finish this track! I think the vocals pass quite well in it, meaby you can just use a bit of the vocals?

wow...this is really good, the vocals are great with this track

9.5/10

Posted by breakaholic on Oct-13-2004 22:49:

I think I'd like this more with the vocals

If you take them out, then maybe this needs more work on basic elements. More complex percussions and something to back-up the lead melody. It gets a bit boring after a while, some variation would be nice. Well this is decent anyway, keep working with it.

Hi.

Honestly I don't think too much of that vocal. What I do think about your leads is that I'm used to phatter synths from you, so this is kind of a bummer. Back leads are just fine. Try to clear up the low-end, it seems a tad muddy. Not bad overall.

Wow this is impressive stuff, dude!

It's dreamy, catchy and that voice

I like that thing you used same as in Riva - time is a healer.

Finish this A.S.A.P. (please)

Posted by DjCommisad on Oct-15-2004 00:21:

its good ron, but it can be better. i think the vocals, the guitar, the melody, the faint piano, everything works.

the lead is a bit thin, could use some lower level instrument echoing it or something to make it a bit phatter.

low levels need another layer, bass needs a bit more volume.

definitly needs some tweaking, but its so friggin good, and it'll be awesome if u finish this buddy!

Posted by Mycron on Oct-15-2004 13:42:

great work Ron, really like it

keep it up, buddy

Peter
