Bob Saget and Mark Curry

just got back from seeing them both on campus.

Hilarious!!! Mark "Hangin' with Mr. Cooper" Curry was hilarious, picked on this kid in the audience, had him come on stage but the kid was hyper as hell so Mark told him to sit down...

Then when Bob Saget came on stage, he was non-stop ragging on this kid. It was hilarious!

And i've heard that Bob Saget is usually dirty when he does standup, but this was absolutely filthy stuff, he talked about everything sexual you could think , plus lots of poo jokes and of course Full House.

He took a guitar out at the end and sang his "Danny Tanner wasn't Gay" song

ahaha good times.

props to Flavdave for spotting me some money so I could go see them tonite

yeah our school always gets washed up comedians. Last semester Pauly Shore came to campus

I can't see tracy morgan doing standup, i dunno i just see him at his best doing skits on SNL... but maybe thats just me.

Dave Chappelle came last year, and that was one of the funniest comedy acts ever, in fact i think it was better than tonight bob and mark...

that's cool.

i saw mark curry twice. Both times, he was funny. and both times, he had different material, which is very good for a comedian. a very good comedian.

and now comes bob saget. i am sorry. from what i heard, he really isn't that funny. his jokes did not have the sexual innuendo from what i heard, but that was long ago. maybe he changed his format recently to revitalize his career to keep up with the "modern times".

but you guys are so lucky to have dave chapelle. that is awesome.

tracy morgan is funny. that is what i think. i saw him on comedy central presents and he was good.

Again, short of starting a new thread, I want to say something here. I find most new black comedians a la Dave Chappelle, Tracy Morgan, Wanda Sykes, Keith Robinson, and many others to be very banal in their humor; recycling the same old black jokes and relying heavily on their ghetto accent to be supposedly funny. I thought this kind of comedy was funny too. Back when it was first being done 10, 20, and 30 years ago. I get it, you're black and you say everything in ebonics...those stereotypes were exploited by comedy a loooong time ago my friends.

Though I admit that Wanda Sykes may just be an excruciatingly unfunny person in general whether she uses heavily recycled jokes or not.

Which is why I think Sinbad is/was the best black comedian ever. He doesn't have a dirty routine, and he doesn't rely on racial jokes (although he does make a few observations, it is not the core of his routine)
