ok, so i've got about 1/2 lb of the ganja sitting in a large paper bag, and i've been drying it for about two weeks now. sadly, there are some white spots of mold that have started to grow on some of the bigger buds, since they were the last to dry. now that everything is pretty much dried, it seems that the mold is starting to disappear, but i was wondering if there was anything i could do to treat the weed with that would get rid of that nasty stuff.

i've heard that some diluted isopropynol in a spray bottle works wonders on it, but i don't want to hurt the potency of the weed..

any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

Just cut off the moldy pieces and it should be fine...btw, if you're growing, never let it dry in a paper bag or something, put the buds on strings and hang them in your closet or whatever.

Don't clean it with isopropyl alcohol, you'll washout a lot of the CBN/THC/CBL.

thats a lot to just trash, but mold spores can be quite damaging in your lungs when smoked. anything obviously not affected could likely be harvested, but any mold is a pretty bad sign harley|

Your best bet is to just rip the moldy pieces off man.

if its regular grade, throw that shit away.

if its dank or kind bud.....dude, u totaly fucked up in the drying process.

like some one said, hang them from a wall or something.

moisture= bad

bag= moisture caught inside creating moldy nastiness of unsmokeable crap.

Mold spores are pretty nasty things. I would reccomend that whatever you smoke of it, be quite sure that there's no mold.

Being the TA pot-grower that I am I say at this point if u cured the buds and they got mold its not like u can do anything about it, cut off with a razor the parts that have mold..thats all u can do, i wouldnt try using chemical agents on dried bud and then attempt to smoke it afterwards...u pick the risk of smoking mold or chemicals...
