the growing up gotti appreciation thread

i dont know why i like this show soo much but to me its soo damn entertaining. ur thoughts

I've only seen 2 episodes. The show is funny. The kids seem like some bad fucks.

I saw one commercial, and it looked extremely dumb. Looks like a poor attempt at the Osbournes.

Incase you have been living under a rock for the past 50 years, or Montreal (shame shit, different pile), it's John Gotti's family. As in the famous mafia boss who spent many years in prison before he died a few years ago. I only assume the mafia runs by some other boss now, so the Gotti's are trying to cash in on anything they can to save their asses from going poor...or maybe try their hand at the entertainment business since drugs, laundering, and crime isnt as acessable as it used to be.

Sorry, but I think the whole show is as stupid as the Gotti kids.

from the looks of the previews, it looks like The Osborns Part 2. Just a bunch of classless, ignorant italians (as opposed to ignorant brits like the Osborns, i'm not dissing italians in general) with more money than they deserve (and didnt earn) and nothing really important to contribute to society.

mafia=overrated, macho, ignorant punks. the whole world doesn't revolve around them like they think...and if you look at them from like a psychologist's perspective, they're all just a bunch of insecure whiney little bitches who need to feel important and instill fear in people to make them feel powerful. they're obviously compensating.


at least the osborns contributed to the music industry...

i only caught about five minutes of one episode and couldnt stop laughing. the mom (i think it was the mom) went out on a date with some guy that looked like a loser and she just completely chewed him out. i have to admit that it takes a lot of balls to go out on a date with her. i dont think i would watch it again but it looked pretty amusing.

first off theres no such thing as maffia anymore (or at leats not what it was back from the early 50's on). secondly i wouldnt consider them ignorant, theyre alot smarter then you or I. The basis of the maffia is finding schemes and ways of making an extra buck by findinf holes and beating the system. and they have done it time and time again. the system was founded by "sophistcated educated" people (" = my hint of sarcasm). and they outsmarted these "sophisticated educated Outs standing" citizens. stop watching mob movies and thinking thats what its all about. True maffia nowadays lies in the hands of capitalist assholes. The people that run north america. Thats maffia. Maffia in north america doesnt exist really anywhere in the world anymore. Maffia actually run our countries nowadays. Policticians, bankers, Owners of big business, Unions leaders. These people are the modern day maffia and theres no room for you and me. These people cheat steal and kill to make more money and are descendants of the old style maffia.

The Gotti's arent maffia. John Gotti was once. Father of the Gambino crime family. but those days are way gone, before he even died. I enjoy this show because its fuckin stiupid and reminds me of all these lil ginos up here in woodbridge. plain and simple. The kids make me laugh, The mom is a bird brain and has no control over anything, even though she likes to believe she does and every other character is funny as hell.

I think Gotti did alot less shit than Ozzy gave us, him and Iomi gave us the first age of hard rock and metal baby...only now has he betrayed us all and become a corporate whore to television. *sniff* Ozzy was only pure and good during the 70's....Satan bless his soul.

i thought that two. but i never brought ozzy into this. slylee did. but u got to admit it takes some fuckin brains to fuck the system considering not one person here has ever came up with a scheme to do it, or has the brains, knows the right people to do it as well. thats all my point is.

the best episode was when Mrs. Gotti had a dinner party with all the bossess from her work and her kids stole the guests bmw's and joy rided them around the block. awesome episode awesome kids.

They are just two totally different people never destined to be compared together...it just makes so little sense.
