Energy 52 - Café Del Mar (The Best Remix)

What do you think is the best remix of this Anthem of trance. Or maybe you believe the original 3 in 1 mix is the best. Let me know your thoughts.

And why was the original never released? Weren't Energy 52 happy with the original?

Probably because Three 'N One have edited their mix countless times. And there was no original, because both the producers did a seperate mix with a different name. An "original mix" was never made.

my fave is oliver lieb's ivan remix.

When it was crowned #1 dance tune of all time in Mixmag a few years ago, they researched into the origins of the track and reported that to be a common myth. Kid Paul's mix was actually the original (he made it by himself) and Cosmic Baby knocked out a remix afterwards. I can't remember what their sources were and they're hardly the definitive voice of journalism, but I doubt they would make shit up like that.

I thought the Cosmic Baby mix absolutely sucked, Kid Paul's was alot better. 3n1 mix was easily my favourite though, really set a new benchmark for anthemic trance at its time. Hybrid mix also rocked and Michael Woods had a nice interpretation of it.

nalin and kane mix is my favorite, followed very closely by the three n one mix. the build up is sooooo good.... with the reversed kick drum sample.... *drools*

that's it for me and i've heard most of the mixes, just a few missing! would love to hear the kid loops mix though, too bad there was only 500 of that around on some special cd single or something like that!
