Pleeeeease found a sexual looking pc, but as always I know coup & others will knock it, so what do u lot think about this spec

thats fucking awesome! tho give me £1000 and i reckon i could build u one just as good

If i was spending that much id want to know what brand the memory and hdds were .. and id also want a seperate and decent sound card and not the integrated crap you get with a mobo .. the general lack of info on the components aint helping that it seems to be pitched as a high end system .. i mean i wouldnt want a philips tft monitor ... especially if the response time is 20ms or over ..

or you could get 2xcdj1000 and a djm300...

you could get a good enough machine for about 500 quid i reckon and overclock it a tad.

For Ste - I'm thinking of spending about £600 on just a base unit, i dont really care about the monitor tbh and softwares. I'm not aware of many good places for branded systems tho, are there any reliable sites that offer good deals - pref on AMD stuff, I prefer it to intel

why not just but a good branded pc. Dell/HP Compaq are more than adaquate. Then just bung in a firewire card/extras if you need? Plus custome cases look horrible. Give me a black compaq any day!

don't knock integrated sound cards. gigabyte and asus have wicked integrated sound capabilities! obviously you can get better stand-alone cards, but what the hell do you need one for unless you work in a studio?

you're right about the ram and hdd tho, for that price i'd want 2gb dual channel DDR made by corsair or something.. and it would be better if you got a different mobo with it, gigabyte boards are amazing at running at standard speeds, but when it comes to overclocking anything they ain't the best in the world.

I can do that for £600, it will be hella quiet, and GUARANTEED to overlcock to AT LEAST 2.2Ghz (XP3200+ speeds), my mobile barton sits comfortably at 2.42Ghz (XP3600+ speeds)

hehe, mine can overclocked to 2.39 ghz (i think) but i darent, as its an amd 1600 normally (1.3ghz) .
