Rain in Los Angeles

What a beautiful sight. Lightning and thunder included. Gotta love that.

But people, please drive carefully. Some person lost control of his/her car and moved to my lane about an hour ago. Almost took me out the freeway. But it's still a beautiful night.

It was so hot and dry in SoCal this summer I thought it would never rain again. So, it was nice having the rain return last night. I slept with the windows wide open so I could hear the rain perfectly.

Rain and lightning in New York all of yesterday. Twas fun driving home from the city last night... Almost got hit by a taxi. But I don't blame him. That's NY driving for ya. If you don't know how to handle it (as in you get in an MVA when you could have prevented it from happening) then move out of NY.

we had some rain a couple of days ago. pretty sweet.
then it got really cool. temps were around the 60's the whole day.
that was good.
the next day. it was muggy.
damn. two days of happiness. hey better than one. right?

It started RIGHT as we got in line to see Ferry. Luckily they made the guestline switch places with general addmission so that the VIP/Guestlist section could be under shelter from the rain.

Places like the desert always have the best rain. It makes you wait so long just to get it, you appreciate it all the much more when it actually arrives.

Plus, the smell of the air after the rain has dampened all of dust - ahhh, makes it worth the wait.

Whats wrong with you people!! If Burt Reynolds can handle a bit of rain, then you guys can! Burt would be outside without a parker at this very moment trying to catch a cold. He teh Bomb!

Someone told me long ago, there's a calm before the storm...
I know; it's been coming for some time...
When it's over, so they say, It'll rain a sunny day...
I know; Shinin' down like water...

Nice! I just check weather.com and it will rain tonight, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday in Southern California. Can't wait to drive around in the rain and mud, playing some Kleineberg, Holden, or Van Buuren.

The thing about LA rain is, it usually only lasts a day or two, and after the rain the city becomes the most beautiful sight on earth....so clear, so pristine, so fresh. Unfortunatley we dont get much rain...so 80% of the year its smog/haze heaven...
