Dj's need publicity gimmicks

i think paul van dyk needs to get shot like 12 times or something to rejump his career. i mean if he got shot 12 times, 3 more then 50 cents, i would go to every single one of his shows. i think djs need to fo publicity stunts. paul oakenfold should jump ja rule or something. i think it would be pretty cool.

perhaps i could shoot him 12 times.

for his career of course.

Armin had that scary "plane on fire" event. I doubt it was a publicity stunt, though. Thank G-d he was alright.

i think it would have been cooler if he got hospitalized then he found out dj tiesto was the one who set fire to it. and he made a song abt how hes gonna get tiesto back. Dj beefs would be cool too.

If only electronic music attracted more violent people. I guess we can all dream.

Why not start some rumours about them?

how about.. no.

Success and popularity should be based on either the production or DJ'ing skills of the individual. There's enough of that media hyping, over-dramatic bullshit in the rap / hip-hop / R 'n B world thanks. i don't think trance would suit it well either due to the lack of pimps in the scene.

Ah the one thing that came off with some wit, but failed miserably at getting a deserving laugh...that's a real shame.

Oh and just because I dont think your feeble mind can read into tone...I was being sarcastic in the first two points, dipshit. Just because you're trying to make up face for being brutally disrespected and made fun of the other day, doesn't give you a right to be dull and unoriginal in your flames. Be gone Jughead!

Nevermind me, Im in a bad mood. Just try to ignore me on such days..

I think most people ignore you on most days.

But if you ask me, and most people do, you're more fun when you're in a bad mood.

i wasnt trying to get a laugh, im not as 'needy' as you are in trying to get the applause of people ove rhte internet. My post just went completely over your head and you really thought i was being serious?

i'm not trying to make up any face from the other day, i never lost any. was i flaming you? no, not at all.. in fact i was just showing you that you missunderstood me and included smilies to show it wasnt a flame. show me the flame... there isn't one.

calling me a name to top it off? go for it, you'll see a ban pretty quick if you continue like that. here comes my actual flame.. your being pathetic and petty now. grow up.

i think what this really boils down to is that fact that american/canadian and european humour is completely different and tbh (this isnt a flame).. you's just don't get it on the whole.

Don't feel so bad. When most people do something it usually means it's a bad idea.

Wait....Rodrico??

I thought it was Radagast for a second.

Posted by Trance Effect on Oct-18-2004 07:17:

I think it would be a bad idea to do that.

One of the things I like about the EDM is that not everybody listens to it.

Only a few that are dedicated, have time to listen and do some research, are the ones that really know about music.

Publicity = pop.

i was skimming, so i thought you were saying that you take vivid boy seriously
cause i definately do
while most people would post that first post with sarcasm, vivid's the one person i can see saying that completely seriously
