Problem with my Numark Axis 9 :(

Hey guys , I have Numark Axis 9 cd player (2) for about 6 months...I love them and they are really good but I got a problem with one of the players that I have no idea how to solve it...
Now this probably useless becuase I doubt if any axis 9 onwers can really help me...the tech support are not answering me...maybe I'll need to take it to the lab?

Now the thing is that somtimes I need to turn the axis on and off for couple of times that I will be able to change the speed of the track with the jog wheel...I mean if I touch the jog without using any effects the pitch won't change...anyone had or have this problems aswell?

Thanks for your help...

Cheers,

/m0sh

nope, the only problem i've had w/ the jog wheel was sometimes it's touch wheel would think you're constantly touching it. So to fix this i used a little of gruv glide and that seemed to help.

Anyways, you should try to update it's firmware to the latest version. That may help.

i had this problem, had to return the unit twice before it was finally resolved, and they never told me wat the fault was i suspect they just put a new board in it

make sure you're not touching the jog wheel as you switch it on. if there is contact when its switching on it can fuck it up until you switch it off again. have you tried just using the non-touch sensetive part at the edges? does it alter pitch like that?

other than that, try firmware upgrading (although it doesn't sound like that is the problem if the problem has only just started, and you haven't flashed it), or take it back to the shop.
