In love with "Bloom"
The more I listen to this CD, the more I discover its intricacies, and appreciate them. So many of the tracks are slow, mezmerizing and hypnotic. I started out mostly listening to CD 2. Tonight I'm listening to CD 1. This Album is gorgeous. It takes you on a journey, through sound, its like exploring a labyrinth. I get lost in the layers, in the driving basslines. The tracks seem really boring and repetitive at first, but after awhile, they get you in a trance, and you start to hear how the rythms and sounds collide and coalesce. Melting into each other and into the next song.
And no, I'm not on Acid.
P.S. if Dave Dresden happens to read this. Thanks. I'm glad I spent my money on your masterpeice.

i still haven't gone through the whole CD1 yet.
i need to sit down and listen to it.
but when you are talking about journeys, you have to talk about james holden - balance 005 . that's a journey there. a journey i don't know where the hell i am going to.
I'm looking forward to getting this album, hopefully it won't disappoint...
Yeah I got Digger's GU 019, Los Angeles...thats another great one.
I was just refering to bloom itself in this thread.
bloom is pretty good, i love stoppage time and here is the house
does anyone else's zabiela - alive cd2 have crackles at the end of track 10? or maybe it was 9 or 11. i've gotten 3 copies of alive from rasputins in berkeley and all of em have the crackling in the exact same spot so i'm guessing it was a set of bad pressings. oh well i just have $17 of credit at rasputins now, eagerly awaing sander k - everybody too, both cds are aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawesome
