Do you play an Instrument?
Hey everyone. Just wondering if anyone plays an instrument? and what songs fo you know on it?
Im used to play guitar, and i also used to play recorder, but i think every british kid used to play that.
Im looking at buying an odd instrument like an oriental or native american flute, anyone know anything about them?
Jackson
I used to play recorder too, was shit
I play guitar now, and a bit of keyboard (mainly cos if you take music here you have to play 2 instruments, so I play enough of it to get by, guitar's what I enjoy more)
Technics sl-1200 mk2 + Vestax 05 Pro
just zee drums, bass and guitar....and I guess a lil bit of them turntables.

I should learn to play them properly
Piano:
> Some classical tunes (e.g. Mozart's #40 something) I can't be arsed to count
> A couple of Brazilian pop-rock
> Rob D. - Clubbed to Death (Kuramayo remix)
> Bloodhound Gang - Discovery Channel
> Robert Miles - Children
> Haak - Frenzy
> Snap! - Rhythm is a dancer (and other Eurodance tunes)
> Ayumi Hamasaki - Endless Sorrow
> Offspring - The kids aren't alright
> U.S.S.R. Anthem
> Brazilian Anthem
> Ayumi Hamasaki - M (Above'n'Beyond mix)
> Loads of other random stuff, such as Underworld's "Born Slippy" and Propellerhead's "Dive!"... usually I just play these things on the piano because I'm too lazy to find out the notes programming the compy
Saxophone:
> Someone from the 80's - The Heat is On
> Los Hermanos - Anna Julia (a Brazilian tune I like)
Flute:
> Arirang (Korean folk song)
Bass:
> Mission Impossible Theme
I also like busting out some trance tunes on the keyboard or piano
bass and drums
i'm kind of amateurish on the bass. i can only play songs i've learned..i know the keys, and i can sort of improvise, but not as well as i can on the drums.
i'm much more advanced on drums. i can either improvise or listen to a song and actually 'tab' it and then play it or improvise while listening to it. i think, had i not gotten so into electronica and had i continued to play the drums instead of the turntables, and had i not moved around so much, it's probable that i'd be in a band or one still in one of my former bands or at least, just..better.
but, no. i just dj now.
I'd love to be able to play drums, I've just never had the time or equipment to learn... I like to have a go whenever there's a kit around though
Turntables. A little guitar.

Oh i forgot when i was in ATC (Air training Corps) i used to have to play the trumpet and sometimes drums. We'd do parades for rememberance day, marching through the streets playing, quite alot more fun than it sounds. I used to be able to play the Dambusters theme, oh aand the Top Gun theme both on the trumpet, hehe!
I can play the flute, and I used to play the harmonica. I can't remember how to do it right anymore
Ttables, guitar, Didgeridoo, ukele, and of course teh humble TRIANGLE!
I used to play piano for a while.
Unfortunately time was a reason why I quit =/
Anyone know if it's possible to buy time?
