Greetings my Swedish friends!

My roomate is an exchange student from Sweden and she is currently studying here at the University of Washington, Seattle, Washington, USA. Well, she has been talking about Swedish that and this and I'm actually thinking about going there for next summer

Ahh cool and good for you... summer time is probably the best time to come to Sweden imo.

I've shown it in another thread before but anyway... this is what Sweden is like according to
"The Simpsons"

Say "hej" to your roomate from me =)

We have Swedish crowns (kronor & re)
1000 USD ~ 7000 SEK

For pocket money I belvie it would be enough but it depends on what your gonna spend it on... I survive on less money each month...
Btw. f**k my bosses... they never give me a raise

No let's keep the "Krona" and let's get out of EU !

Well yeah Silja cruises goes to Finland and they have the Euro as we all know, they used to have the Finish "Mark" and even they had both Swedish and Finish currency (just some so not interessting facts there)

1000 bucks per month was more than I needed living in student housing in Uppsala.

then again I wasnt partying in Stockholm very much and that is a different story!
