Delta 44
Before anyone says it, yes I've tried the search, tho its not working.
I've just recently purchased the Delta 44 Pci Card for my PC, however I do not understand the inputs & outputs.
Can this soundcard only be used with Studio Monitors? As I wish to connect this card up to my HiFi which uses the standard 3.5mm jacks?
Any help on this soundcard would be appreciated. Problems occured etc...
You need this kind of cable:

Cheers m8, this looks perfect, tho how come they're are two cables? Red & White.
Does the Delta 44 have left & right output or something?
indeed. Delta 44 has 4 outputs and 4 inputs, all are 6.3 mono jacks. You just plug in your monitors with a 2x L/R mono jack cable.
Personnaly ive got that cable going into my behringer UB502 mixer, and then to my monitors (more practicle for adjusting the main volume..)
have fun, its a greeeaat card indeed.
Edit : sorry, i should have read better
I hope you will get that cable easily, i had problems finding it in France
static blue
Found another cable, which is cheaper and can ship to the UK
HERE
the white and red cable refers to left and right channels. i.e. left speaker requires 1 input. right speaker requires another input if you want to mix in stereo. if you wanna do 5.1 you will need 6 inputs. generally speaking the more inputs you have the better as it allows you to connect more stuff to your soundcard. things like synths, samplers, mixers etc. i wouldnt worry too much about the lack of inputs on the 44 though cuz you can always daisy chain more deltas to get more inputs or use an omni box.
Random point : the cables Chronosis pointed out looked like they're balanced (as they're TRS mono), which you probably don't need. The ones you've linked to look unbalanced, which should be cheaper and are fine for a home studio.
Make sure you set the output + input levels in your Delta 44 control panel correctly ( i.e. +4db, -4db or -10db ) If you're hooking up to a standard amplifier, probably the -4db or -10db setting will be good. But read the manual about this
Good luck with the Delta44, I've got nothing but good things to say about that card.
