Rasta Unreal!

I've said it once...I'll say it again!

p.e.g. for TA Producer o' the Year!

Props man! I love your work. Everything.

So much to listen to hear...how do you come up with it? ehhehe.

Fantastic..no constructive critism to give...well..okay...maybe this:

You don't make enough tracks for me!!

Thanks bro..and check my latest too when you get a sec.

Holy hindu cow batman,

Rockin track Phil, some serious layering going on. Gotta love those saw waves that you bring in about 1:36. More of that shit!

The melodies are beautiful. So uplifting.

I originally thought the buildup at 4:15 was a bit generic, but then theres a second one at 5:10 which just totally puts it all in perspective. Great stuff, very well contructed and thought out.

Only crit would be one of the high hat has some serious reverb on it or a long decay. Kinda sounds more like a ringin sound. It's very different although its a little distracting in places.

Excellent stuff though, easily your best track yet. Keep it up man, this is so good =)

There are some really ugly open hihats clashing in the backgorund..Not the ones between each kick.. But MAN this is solid!!! I like the kick VERY much. It's perfect. I think the break should have appeared one minute earlier. At 02.05. But WOW what a cool melody!!! Nice chords Hey, this isn't uplifting? It's very deep. Tragic in a way... There's so much energy in this one! Extreme This has to be one of the best productions on TA throughout this year!!! No doubt! You should add another break to it though.. A piano break or something. To make it more emotional and unpredictable.

IMO:
Don't wait 3 minutes before the main break comes.
Also, add some FX's in the main break.
Fix those ugly hihats in the background.
Add a piano-break at 06.06 or something...

And then - send this to a label god dammit

Well god dam, spank my ass an call me christy, this is beautiful.

Build-up is immense, breaks are exceptional, percussion is heavy, bass is sublime. Only minor thing that bothers me is the main synth. I think it's too . . . bland. I think you need to make it deeper but it's just mo. Great tune bud!

Posted by Massive84 on Oct-20-2004 20:51:

man, your best track here.

AWESOME intro!

2.26 bass chord change, really cool.

great energy, great vibe, great drive!

this is something like Rollerball just lacks a choir .

nice job .

I agree with alexpea on the ugly hihats, but other than that... man, you sure has improved. This is amazing! Massive energy and the kicks are echoing in my head.

You just became my favorite producer on this forum! You started slow imo, but then you came with a blast! I'm stunned, really.

The quality could be better (samples), but it doesn't make it much worse, the melody, the bassline, the energy, the synths... it's simply just... can't find words for it. You rock!

Go p.e.g! Your best so far, no doubt!

Great piece of uplifting trance! Reminds me of the quality tune of 98/99, stuff by ferry, tiesto and such. This is a quality work mate, and its by far your best tune up until now.

Cant really add anything new to what everyone else already mentioned, all I can say is that this melody gives me the chills.

Keep it up!

aha, now i know why you reviewed my music, you make same uplifting nice music... damn NICE work...

Posted by davidemonin on Oct-22-2004 01:31:

Nice one, will play this

Posted by pho mo on Oct-22-2004 11:31:

Thanks for the feedback everyone! It is much appreciated!

so the hi-hats need work ... damn percussion is the bane of my existence, will have to work super-hard next time

also, can you please let me know which are the 'samples of low quality' - are they fx or percussion? it would be good to know the exact part that stands out as bad so I can fix it.

thanks again everyone for listening!

Everything works really well with me EXCEPT for the main synth and actually big parts of the main lead as well (IMO).. Apart from the main synth the production quality is really good.. I'd like to see this production in another suit as I think the melody doesn't live up to the rest of the standards set by the overall impression..

Hi m8, thanks for your honest response. I think the melody is a little weak as well, thanks a lot for your feedback!

I Love This Very Nice and a producer right here in Aust all i could ask for is a more bass!

Posted by Barachem on Oct-26-2004 16:20:

So much praise for this tune?!?

Let's try to get a listen to this one tonight.

Posted by Barachem on Oct-26-2004 21:49:

This is a deep one, a friend of mine is calling it very spacey.
It find it very anthemic, like Barbers Adagio for Strings, Veracocha, Gouryella and other tracks like those.
Very 99-ish and 00-ish Ferry Corsten like.
I didn't expect that one coming.
About the ringing sound, i find it kinda cool in the track, gives it something special, if you could supress its volume just a bit, then it would be perfect.
But keep on producing.

Great tune. If I get my FinalScratch out to the club I will spin this bad boy
