WHAT A FUCKING AWESOME NIGHT! \

i just saw pvd in toronto last night oct10 at the Guvernment and had one of the best times in my life (my second time rolling). he came on at about 1am to start his 3hour set. the music he played was familiar. some of his old remixes and classic songs mixed in with some of the songs i've heard on the "Politics of Dancing" cd that's coming out in november. throughout the night he'd alternate between relaxing breakbeats and then all of a sudden drop a massive bomb, exciting the crowd to a fervor unlike i've ever seen before at other clubs and raves. it's not even the drugs. i could be completely sober and still enjoy his spinning b/c it really is all about the music! Can't wait til he comes back to either Toronto (hometown) or Chicago (where i'm currently working now).

p.s. if any of you guys were there last night, i was the dude in the blue hat on one of the podiums pointing my glowsticks at pvd, whistle tweeting at the same time!
