Wmc '05

So the conference is going to be March 22-26 this year. Who's going and for how long?

I intend on going for a long weekend to party. Need to know when Ultra is going to be. Last year it was the weekend before, but I'm not sure if that's always the case. If anyone has any insight, it would be appreciated.

i'm hoping to have the money to go...i'll get my ass kicked if i can't i'm sure hehehe

(Tentatively)

I really hope to make it this year, I've already started setting $ aside.

I'm thinking of going this year. Just figuring out how expensive travel and hotel would be, as well as a butt load of money to party my ass off.

Last year was awesome. You guys should make sure to go. You don't understand the parallel universe of hot chicks in South Beach during the conference. It is ridiculous. Not to mention all of the best dj's playing their best sets. I didn't even make it into Ultra last year, because we were trying to sell t-shirts outside, but we hit Space three times and it was phenomenal.

Ultra will be on the last day this year[like all years except last] on the 26th. i'll be there thursday - monday

Its right on my spring break so I have to go.

That's my intent, as well. Or thursday-sunday. Glad to know that it is on the last day rather than before.

All TA's that attend the conference must invade "Wet Willy's" for "Call-A-Cab" daquiries at some point. 2-3 of those and you will be packing a hell of a buzz. That's one feat I intend on repeating.

I would love too. Unfortuntaely I will only be 20 when this comes around, so I will have to go in 2006 instead. Some people in Miami i'd really like to meet too, so I will make a huge effort when that finally comes around.

Tips

dont go gettin fancy hotels cause u wont be seeing them much..go motel 6 or something..Bring teh b00z or dont buy it at the beach or events....

Book early (hotels)

Yeah, I agree about the hotel, however, I am not staying downtown again, like last year. We were fortunate to have a friend with a rental car, and were close to Space, but besides that, it sucked. Staying in South Beach, if possible.
