i decided not to do it as it meant giving up my friday nights until christmas, and if i go out, its usually on a friday night. Oh well, guess i'll just sit in and get pissed with my mate

You could learn a really old skool hobby. Knitting, ham radio, or yelling at kids for riding their bikes on the sidewalk.

I tried the yelling at kids thing, and got hit in the face by a stone, itg fuckin' hurt man, cheers

I knitted my Sooty puppet a scarf when I was six. Oh yes, it's an interesting fact, but I wouldn't recommend it for relieving boredom unless you've either got a Sooty puppet, or you're six years old.
