Second Sun - the spell (Cass dub) (Vandit 44)
tunage!!!
wicked progger imo..
the orig. is pretty good but i'd prefer a dub
don't like the deutschmann rmx at all..

cass dub is quite nice yeah
I was disappointed with the Deutschmann though. It was kind of boring after first listen...
i agreed with alphastarred, the deutschmann mix is not my style, but the original mix is just as good as the cass dub
Only heard the Juno samples, but the Cass dub sounds pretty sweet, reminds me a lot of Cass - Kenjin though. Original mix isn't bad either, interesting vocal.

yes good tune. ordered my copy from juno a few days ago. Will provide a rating once I listen to the entire song.

The original and the Deutschman mixes aren't that special.
Cass dub is wicked. Would do wonders in the beginning of the set.
Original Mix : has GREAT vocals and a great vibe but for club purposes it's useless because there's no energy to dance to. This mix could benefit from a good dance mix.
Deutschmann Mix : I don't see the problem with this mix. It has the needed energy lacking in the original however from the sample the vocals have taken a back seat...tisk tisk.
Cass Dub : has a very magical sound to it but is really boring IMO and I wouldn't want to hear it out at a show.
Overall I think this is a great single. I would love to hear some more remixes though. At least ones with more drive kinda in the spirit of the Deutschmann Mix but much better and more focus on the vocals.
Great stuff...
I must say, I don't see what the problem is with the Deutschmann Mix. It's probably my favorite one on there. Typical trance? Ok, I guess I can agree with that argument. But if you want this song to add energy to your set rather than progression, the Deutschmann Mix is the way to go. It's the version Ferry Corsten played in his set here at Freak Night in Seattle, and it was great. Mixes well with "Red Line Highway" too, I might add.
I'll have to check out the Cass Dub and the original once more...I do like progression, but normally only when I'm playing in my room. When playing out somewhere, I like energy.
Original 3/10
The male vocals in this track in truth sound gay; gay in the homosexual term. The break-beat breakdown is different but it lacks that special quality. No energy or emotion in this track at all. Poor release.
Deutschmann Remix 8/10
The gay male vocals from the original are eliminated. One is left with very small samples which work well in this track. The overall progression of this tune is quite formulaic. The touches of male vocals, the energetic breakdown make this a worthwhile tune to play out.
Cass Dub 4/10
This is a generic attempt to create a progressive tune. Formulaic progressive structure and sound.
So boring
I really like the Deutschman mix... maybe I'm alone on this... but I love the buildup.
Cass dub is my fav, but I must admit the original vocals have grown on me, I just hate that damn siren type thingy, it sounds so cheesy.
a sexy prog conversion
but i don't think i can listen to it 5 times in a row, it'll get old fast
