Whats worse is when a supereme tranceaddict, or custom status decides they want to start djing, so they start going to the dj forum, but for some reason they think the usual tranceaddict code of conduct (searching, and not posting a pagefull of different threads etc.) doesnt apply here.

thanx for the reccomended sites, i cant afford any real good tables, ill figure that out on my own, or something.... i cant afford tables rite now, but my school has some stantsons so, that where i play around. i dont really know much about beat MATCHING but im sure i will learn practice practice practice..... sorry bout the confusion.....

Yea you really shouldn't have said that, but it will make for an easier time for you as alot of the super nerds will be nice, thinking they got a chance at getting an interweb girlfriend.

When search is back up and running, do a search for your questions, becuase 99% of them will have been answered, also I was thinking, TAs should help each other out, I've helped 2 people become a DJ, one being J:\Digitial on this site, people should get help from other more experienced people who are in the same city, would be a nice idea if it got going.

the bes advice to give to anyone who is just starting to DJ, is practice practice practice. and then when you have done that, do some more practise

at first it seems that its hard enough just to get the beats lined up and beatmatched, but once you have that down to a tee then the whole world of djing opens up to you.

Its not bad that your a chick, its just how some nerds will react to you now, but you should be ok in the DJ Booth, its the other forums that are messed up.

my school is awesome, we have our own recording studio... our music class is mostly done on computers using fruity loops n acid pro n reason n sound forge.... its uber kewl

indeed. my old school? well they had a couple of cheap casio keyboards. 1 or 2 slighty more expensive yamaha keyboards (which you can still buy at argos at any rate). 1 out of tune mini grand piano. and the music department wasnt soundproofed so the poor bastards in french class upstairs can hear the horrid sound of 12 year olds practicing brass instruments for the first time.
