how many records do u own?/how often/much do u spend?
Hi all!
I woz wondering how many cds/records u have, how much do u spend on cds and how often?
i curently have about 73 singles, 20(ish) albums and 9 vinyls and i usually buy about 3-4 singles per week.
post yours here...!
cds...?
vinyl...approx 550 12"
spend...more than i should
how often...weekly
i told the guy where i buy that i should just direct deposit my paycheck to his account and he just laughed and said yeah it would probably be easier that way.
lost
buy a lotta cd's, I try and give the credit where it's due

currently around 20+ cd's, gonna be 22+ soon!

other than that, i burned the cd's i have
you know I really have no clue how many records I have, its probly only 50ish. But as a rule, I try to spend no more that 100 a week on vinyl. LAtely Ive not been buying at all..no time to go lookin!
I usually buy about 4 12" singles a week...how many do I have?..hmmm..alot....addicted to buying vinyl...
About 200ish records
About 250 CD's
Just today i picked up 4 records for about $64 and last week $50
I need to spend less on records
Much less not get parking tickets to get the records
Only have about 100 vinyls...wish i had the dough to buy me 10 new every week
but i don't
You know, that's one of the bad parts of spinnin at home and at the same time havin to save up to expand yer studio. Yay another reason to buy vinyl nobody knows; you can still spin it 2 years after purchase and nobody knows it's old
Speaking of addiction...I've been hooked on vinyl shopping eversince late 99...started of with buying lotsa CD singles...got about 100 singles 80 plus albums ..got my tables and now am standing at 300 (12" singles) and about 10 (12" Albums).
Spending habits are out of control, spend about $300 a month...
I don't know know if this applies to me, cuz I can't just go out to the local rekkid shop and pick up any record I want.
I order anywhere from 5 to 15 records at a time.. usually around 150 bucks..damn the unavailability of hardcore.
I have 53 records, as of now..been collecting for a year now.
bse
I dont have a tt yet but i have 3 !! weeee...too bad i bought them off ebay so shipping was high. If only a record shop was around here i'd buy more.
i think i have about 320.. i spend way too much cuz i go looking for old classics that are hard to find. heh. no pun intended. i spent $850 Cdn on vinyl last month, but i gotta cut down now for sure.
i dont buy cds, except blank ones, the last ones i bought were faithless - outrospective
and before that, dave seaman - GU Cape Town
Appx 150 vinyl and growing. I'm spending about $100 a month. But I share my collection with two other guys.
I now have the best collection of uplifting trance vinyl in probably all of Texas.
I have about 2500 vinyls + 120 CDs and 50 CD singles....
still need more
Don't know how much I spend in a month maybe 150 $
I don't get any promos, btw
I don't feel like counting them all, but i have rows and rows of vinyl laying about the floor in mah room..... definitely not as much as dawn, but i think more than the others. I only buy records that i hear on the radio

i buy a CD about once in 2 weeks and about 3 vinyls a month.
