Be Cool! Musicv2 .com New Feature

I thought this article might interest a few of you DJ's

=============================================================

It's official, over the next few weeks Musicv2 will be rolling out it's full featured live broadcast relay server making musicv2.com the first and only mp3 hosting site to provide it's artists and dj's the ability to broadcast their events, mixsets, radio shows and concerts live over the internet!

What this means is that every Titanium or Platinum level member will be able to book/reserve broadcasting times in our soon to be released event center which will guarantee them that time slot to air their event (if it's not already reserved). Whether it's you at home wanting to drop a dj set live, your band having a concert, or you spinning at a gig, as long as you can get the feed into a computer connected to the internet you will be able to book a time and broadcast that event live directly from the musicv2.com website. This should open up huge potential for our artists to get themselves out there.

In addition to the ability for our artists to broadcast single events, we are also now excepting applications for Musicv2 resident dj's. We have many open time slots that need to be filled and are looking for those who not only have the time to be a resident dj but also the skills to do so. If you are interested in becoming a musicv2 resident dj, email me at [email protected] and provide a link to your musicv2 artist page (so I can listen to your mixes), your contact information and the three times you are most available to broadcast. I will review every submission and get back to you.

We are also looking for those of you who may not have time to be a resident but would like your mixes to be included in our line up. The musicv2 broadcast server will be running 24/7 so we need as many mixes as possible to fill the void in between broadcasts. If you want us to use one or more of your mixes, let me know and I will add them to the line-up.

If you want to tune in to get an idea of what's going down, click here to listen live: http://69.93.34.6:8000/listen.pls
