any psych majors in here? seriously, what is wrong with people who lie about EVERYTHING? this guy i work with lies about going to the bathroom, i'm not kidding. it's like he's ALWAYS got something to hide, it's sad really. do you think someone like that could be labeled as a pathological liar? what makes someone a pathological liar?


feel free to hijack my thread too if you have any related or nonrelated topics.


on another note, my bf just called me and said his boss is giving him a brand new dell pc w/ a 17 inch flat screen! WOOO HOOO *that pretty much means it's mine too*

i knew someone who lied all the time... well i didnt get to know her to well... she went to a medical institutionc ause she was a compulsive lier.. she lied so much she belived her own lies.. it was wierd



saw her this summer after 2 years.. she is fine

like he'll grab his car keys (i'll hear them) then he'll walk by me and be like, "i'm going to my other office" which means the bathroom...and he's gone for like 20 min. i'm sure he goes to the bathroom at some point, but he leaves to go fart around (he's the biggest fucking slacker i will ever come across in my entire life).

I used to have a roommate who was kicked out of college, told us he was working for pepsi.... left the house every morning by 8 in his uniform, came home about 6. he didn't have a job. to this day i still don't know where he went. then, he would tell every girl he brought home (which was a lot, the guys a player -- probably cause he told them some good lies) that he was in school. he would steal books out of our backpacks and then go over to the girls house and actually read them pretending to study. Kinda crazy.

My dad's last wife is like that. She lies all the time and gets these ideas in her head. I really believe that she believes them. It's almost like skitzophrenia (spelling?). She's a fucking bitch and I hate her! Glad I don't have to interact with her anymore. Golddigging whore!

My niece (12 years old) is a pathological liar. She lies about absolutely everything. She starts converstations with lies. She will say anything just to lie. Its really sad.

i have a friend that told us that he found a trillion dollar bill. we laughed at him for about 20 minutes. actually we still laugh about it.

nite mer, i know what you mean about the gold digging stepmom. she's so full of shit when she talks to me. the other day i called my dad cuz he was at my sister's (she just had a baby and they went to go see her), and she answered my dad's cell phone and she's like, "HI AUNT JAMIE"! in this fucking obnoxious squeeky baby talk voice, and then she was like, "i just told dustin all about you". dustin is my 4 day old nephew.

That's really funny, because mine is exactly like that too. Acts so nice at times, but then she freaks out and goes off a second later. And when it suits her, she bends and changes truths to suit her argument.

no way, i've also witnessed him lying to his girlfriend bc he's constantly on his cell (when he should be filing) and i hear his convos. he and his gf fight about the DUMBEST shit ever. seriously, his fights with her remind me of when my boyfriend and i in highschool used to fight...i was 15.

also, he's a spoiled rich boy too, and he lies about how he "earns" his money and tells everyone that his parents don't help him out.
yea, ok sure buddy.

let's see, you drive a new corvette, you live in a huge house in miami (well at least he admits his parents own that) and he talks about the boats he has....he buys and sells them on the side...and he says he works here for free (they pay him under the table i'm sure). sometimes i feel like just putting him on the spot and being like, "well how did you get into buying and selling boats? i mean you had to start SOMEWHERE. did you just pull money out of your ass and one day say that you were gonna go buy a boat"? hahahah

he also tells everyone that he's premed and prelaw at UM...but i don't think he really is...he's such a fucking liar i swear i want to beat him sometimes.

lol, yea i got that part, thanks. the whole point is that he leaves and goes and fucks around but tells me he's going to the bathroom. it's like he doesn't even have to report to me, why doesn't he just walk out? instead he makes shit up every time.

i knew a guy who gave the impression that he lied about his wealth. he would come up to me and my friends and preach about how many houses he got and his dad owns some big company in the UAE. it was funny cause we believed him at first till there was no evidence to back up his talk. then when he discovered we knew too much he moved on to lie to other people. weird shit

my office is right next to the entrance so for some reason everyone passing by like to tell me where they r goin or sit down for a chit chat and vent..like i fucking care where u r goin just because i am close to the doors...cant u people see i am busy browsin TA hahaha

Pathological liars are the ones who believe their own lies. This guy just seems like an ass who needs to be gotten rid of. If you can do anything, do it, or else he'll get worse, and you'll look bad for noticing this long.
