Sounds really nice and full, the tune has a good energy to it. I like the offbeat bass melody, very catchy, and works really well with the various lines you've got going over the top.
The breakdown at 2:30 sounds great, you've kept a lot of energy in it, and it really makes you want the tune to kick back in.
Around 5:03 the mix is a little muddy, although the loud lead has an excellent sound, the rest of the elements at that point are buried away.
Nice tune, definitely got me going

little messy for me....a lot go'n on. Production wise its really good. not to crazy about the delayed symbols that kick in the beginning. I just don't see the song really go'n anywhere through-out.
really like ur style though!

not bad though the mastering could be done better! i agree that it sounds muddy! bang some eq up its arse then it will sound better! ;-)

Mr Rogers .. Thanx for listening and i'll tro to Eq the track a lil

retiro .. now i'm learning to be better in mastering

Posted by d-miurge on Oct-31-2004 23:06:

your song is not bad but remains still a little "unmethodical", continuous to work as you do it by learning some tricks on the mastering, because you have the ideas and the potential to make it!
cheers D-Miurge

Aah, this is East-European trance an thus I instantly don't like it. I don't know why, but I can never sit down an listen to stuff you guys produce. I actually attempted doing that with this tune but I only got as far as the 1min mark. So, feedback from that point... synth is not very variated, bass is too simple an the overall effect of the tune is messy... although on the plus side, I think the atmosphere you found is decent.

I honestly didn't really care for it until 1:38, then it grabbed my attention. Had some elements of style that I like. It kind of lost me again after that.

I could see myself dancing to this in a club, but not sitting at home chillin' to it (and I am in a chillin' mood tonight That's probably what you're going for though.

I generally do like the patches you're using. Nice rich sounds.

I am sorry, but what the hell is that bassline in the begining? That sounds hella wack to me, but whatever personal opinion. Cool delay on the hh's, but I think the bass is all wrong. First is has too much reverb and stuff, which causes it to sound all floatly later in the mix(it sounds alright in the start mix wise at least).

What kind of music is this supposed to be? It's like psytrance or something? It reminds me of the last time I smoked marijuna: a paranoid, unpleasent experience.

Posted by Al_Vito on Nov-08-2004 16:08:

i dont like the bassline...needs something to it...

the track is good...it aint to my taste though...

Posted by music2dance2 on Nov-08-2004 16:30:

Abit too hard for me but all the same, you have some good ideas & i like the melody you got going on, and the bassline is kinda cool. I'd kill that main synth though it sounds to computery, unless thats what youve gone for.

So most of what I noticed has already been touched on, but I would like to add that perhaps if you were to lower a little bit of the release and decay (tighten up that bass) and kill some that reverb or just eq the reverb to where its reverberating less low and more of the higher freqs it will sound less cluttered and muddy. Good luck on the next track! Peace!
