I'll respond. I may have found it. Jacob & Mendez is definately the artist, and I think the song is "One Breath".

it was released on Hook recordings offshoot UG RECORDS around 5 years ago.

I searched for it and only could find the vinyl. Is it on CD?

it was a vinyl only release at that time but it was included on several compilation albums
