we got a network at home, with a server computer, and the modem is connected to the server computer...

now when i wanna post from my computer, i cant, i have to log into the server in order to be able to post...

any1 know how to solve this problem??

what are you currently using to connect to theinternet from your computer? the internet connection sharing tht comes with win2k or a proxy?

Hmm, me and my bro both have Win2000 on our machines, he's the one usually on the connected side, and im the one going through the proxy, and i havent had any problems posting?

If ure using the internet sharing that came with 2000, try d/l and using Winproxy, works great for me.
