wtf are you people serious? They sell pumpkin seeds in vending machines at my school. The popular sunflower seed company "Spitz" makes them.

The problem with ours this year was we soaked them in salt water overnight and never dried them before throwing 'em in the oven. At the recommended bake temperature (250) they took over an hour. Ugh. So worth it though.

I've never soaked em in salt water. Make em better?

I usually just salt them on the pan before I put them in the oven. Maybe a sprinkle of Tony's Cajun seasoning.

Pumpkin anything is delicious. I LOVE seeds, pumpkin pie, pumpkin bread, pumpkin cookies, pumpkin shakes.... yummy.

It didn't really make much of a difference to be honest. I'd never done it that way before but it turned out fine. Some of the recipes I found had worcestshire / butter / garlic in them but I couldn't be bothered, as I was much too hungover. We did put garlic powder on some of them and they turned out okay, but just plain salty ones are still the best.
