John O'Callaghan & Bryan Kearney - Restricted Motion

Heard this on ASOT 172, and it just blew me away. This dude John O' Callaghan is superhot, dropping really really great quality tunes. Can't until release!

Awesome track! But wasn't there already a thread about this?

This isn't the "Tracks I heard on ASOT"-forum anyway.

Why do you have to be so anal about everything? I certainly hope you aren't like this in real life.

Posted by john2 on Nov-01-2004 21:34:

Perhaps the only time i agree with Mystery. It get's so lame posting every tune you've heard on ASOT or any other broadcast.Yes there is no rule, you can do whatever you want blah blah blah blah.Anyway as i've said and before i don't like this thing with the ASOT tunes.

Posted by Stanza on Nov-02-2004 01:07:

Oh i'm really sorry. I wouldnt like it either if someone posts every tune he hears and thinks that its cool. i just wanted to mention this tune because FOR ME it really sticks out the ASOT this time and i#m starting to love this guy john o' callaghan.

i'm really sorry

It's because John is a TA and you know how TA's love bashing fellow artists/members.

Posted by GLD on Nov-03-2004 08:18:

ok maybe it was wrong to post it here because its actually not a release. but as i heard it i was so excited i wanted to tell some1
but anyways, maybe you all could stop beating me down for my mistake ( ).
and i'm still getting hard when that tune plays....

Er... yeah. You see a lot of John bashing in this thread, don't you? [insert the oh-so-cool rolleyes here]

Then let the thread exist without all the extra comments. It's great that John is receiving much deserved recognition. It shouldn't matter that it is because of ASOT.

Why is everybody so damn difficult on that, ... this is for new releases, .. and ASOT, TATW en all those others are places where people hear new tracks.

Now I agree that this kinda threads could go elsewhere, and I also agree that if you only put the name of the track with a thousand smileys and saying you love it so much is not really nessecary (how do you spell that word?? )

But your problem is "Tracks I heard on ASOT" and I ask you why? And give some arguments now....

Because most DJ's don't want to waste their time going into threads that talk about tracks not being released for another 2 months. That's generally how things work in the industry, tracks take forever to come out.

Besides, isn't a new release something that just GOT released? New release and new tracks are different. As far as I know, 90% of the tracks on ASOT, GDJB and TATW aren't new releases rather new tracks.

However, this topic has been brought up time and time again with the same old response from Wicked Neo which I think is crap. Create a forum for all internet radio shows and leave this forum seperate for what it was mean for, new releases.

this track will be released on Discover Records in December
with a John Askew remix

so yes...it is a "new release" (albeit pending) and not just an ASOT Play

It will be a new release in December, untill then it's not a new release,it's an asot play .Noone has a prob with John,i like most of his tunes and i'm sure many do as well......the problem is not with the artists,it's with the threads for tunes that will be released after 3-4 months and then some will make new threads and we will start again another war ("This thread allready exists,go search"....."Jesus you're so noob,do some search"..."No it wasn't released then, now it's released so this thread is for the release"......etc etc)

i think the project is called "Inertia - Restricted Motion" or maybe im wrong.

Askew mix is mind blowing, but thats Askew for you!

I am *so* looking forward to this. Loved it when I heard it on ASOT and then picked up Inertia 'The Emerald' in a second-hand record shop the other day. So much good music coming from both Johns (Askew & O'Callaghan) & Discover at the moment.

I concur

Two of the most talented producers today.
