renting a car for the autobahn

Ill be going to Europe in June and wanted to rent either a Mercedes, Porsche, or M3.... and take a drive on the autobahn...

Know of any rental places, costs, and where you can hit high speeds?

In general, you can rent all cars directly next to the airports.

... and for example - take the A5 from Frankfurt to Darmstadt - about 15 miles and 4 lanes with no speedlimit and all the way straightforward.

First of all - wish U nice days in Europe/Germany!
Normally U can rent cars @any airport or @any central railway station!
The bigger car rental companys are:

Sixt
Hertz
Europcar
Avis

These U'll find searchin' by internet!

The conditions of renting a car could be very different - it also depands on the car/category!
Perhaps U'll get any benefit by a membership to some (auto)clubs and so on...

Kickin' the accelerator could be very expensive...

with you being over 25 years old soon, there should be no problems renting a car. if you are younger than 21 or sometimes 25 years, you have big problems renting a car with more than 200 hp.


i would prefer a trip throug the alps by some nice passes but i think you just want topspeed that isn't possible in your country



and watch out for a nice soundsystem, at 200 mph you don't have any friends, so at least there should be nice music

ja aber anscheinend hat der texter nich gesehen das es schnellere autos geben wird die schneller als 210 fahren

Ich glaube Markus wollte uns sagen 210 in einer geschlossenen Ortschaft!!!

Obwohl 3,10 DM.... Momentan 1 Liter V-Max bei Shell 1,29 Euro = 2,52 DM!
Wir bem�hen uns die Differnz aufzuholen....

naja damals waren 210 schon echt was... das sind heute 330 km/h
