I know I am going theget sh#t from this butt...

who out there is so picky that they only enjoy dating people that are into there music,.... the thing is ,it is so cool when you and your partner feels the same effect that good music has( ie good house or trance)... and with that it makes going out a partying with each other so much more fun......

just don't mind me , I am just b*tching, I am just so sick of going out with women that have such bad taste in music......I am just a
b%tch

Where are all the house chicks at.....

I won't date someone that doesn't share my same passion for music (trance, house, prog, etc).

Posted by ClubGoddess on Nov-02-2004 02:55:

neither will I

Posted by planbrad on Nov-02-2004 04:53:

damn im the opposite of you all. i would never date a girl that liked the same music as me. i love the fact that my girlfriends have always hated techno. its nice to be able to go to a show and not have to have the girlfriend with you.

however, girls that love techno are very hot and the best to chill with. maybe i should try dating a girl thats into techno but i really think im better off keeping my music and dating separate.

there are more things to connect about then music..but it is a plus..

Music is too instrumental in my life to be with someone that didn't enjoy it with me. I love going on road trips to shows with my brother and/or best friend. I used to do that with my ex so it's nice to have someone that will still do things like that with me. I couldn't imagine going on a road trip (to anywhere for any reason) or just driving to run errands and the person that I'm with hated the music that I love. Or how about if I want to go to shows and that person not understand or appreciate my desire or interest? I would love for my boyfriend to be right there with me with a big ass smile on his face loving the music.

My best friend is a DJ and there is no way in hell that I could ever date someone that wasn't interested in listening to him spin. If that was the case I would be going out quite a bit without my boyfriend and how much fun is that? Ideally the person that I am with loves listening to Paul spin and would be the one suggesting that we go out for the evening. I don't mean all the time, but even once a month would still be nice.

I would rather date someone that loves music as much if not more than I do. It's nice having someone that understands why I'm ok with staying home on a weekend night to listen to Ferry Corsten spin live from NY or Tiesto spin live from Holland. I do listen to a variety of music so I don't expect the person that I'm with to be limited to just EDM, but if he hated trance (house and prog) he and I would never work. Life is too short to spend it with someone that I have to compromise who I am just to be with him. Yes we do make adjustments to be with the people that we love, but I have limitations to how much I am willing to compromise.

Blah Blah Blah

Stop bitching about dating, love, ect. Either you're getting laid or into someone. If it's good ass, who cares if she listens to crap.

Rasta

I have no issue with a woman that doesnt like my music.... as long as she doesnt bother me about my partying habits and going to see dj's and the like....

but my girlfriend is very into reggae, which just happens to be my mistress as far as music is concerned. So we meet halfway on that.

As long as shes a good person- no worries

See that is what I try to do. And if they still dont like it then i don't worry about it. I they can't handle my type of music or the parties that i go to, I just tell them that "we probably won't make it far but if you still want to try I will try also. But I will never ever listen to gangsta rap or county so get over it"
