Dancing Dude John 00 Fleming and Christopher Lawrence team up..

Just got this from Christopher Lawrence's website (which is very nice incidentally) --

In what must be the ultimate trans-Atlantic trance team up, John 00 Fleming and Christopher Lawrence have joined forces for the forthcoming single 'Attention', which will be out on JOOF recordings in late 2004. In a recent interview, John described thetrack as "a dark, driving trancer". He also explained how the pair teamed up: "I get on really well with Chris. We've been speaking about it for ages and eventually Chris came to the UK and I grabbed him when he was here and said "Right Chris, you're staying at my house for a week and we're gonna make a track!" and we did and we're both really happy with it!" Stay tuned for more details.

Can't wait for this one woohooo!!

Not really, as John hasn't produced a single psy trance record in his entire career. I doubt that Christopher Lawrence being in on it this time will change that.

Collab tracks are lotsa fun, but lets try not to think so much about the names of the artists, and instead about how the track sounds.

There is a audio sample of the track on the discography page of John's website, it's listed under Singles called Fleming & Lawrence - problem is that I couldn't get it to work, can anyone else get it going?

Peace.

Thanks for the tip, have now found it, for those of you still looking, it's at http://www.john00fleming.com, you need to scroll down in the column on the right hand side of the page called "Latest Releases".

So finally heard it and must say I am impressed, nice DIRRRTY trance. Tough stuff, no fluff.

There is a lot of good psy trance. Not the abrasive, shrill kind that seemed to dominate for so long, but more minimal stuff that seems to draw more heavily on prog house basslines. It's a natural choice for Djs who shy away from the melodic, cheezier sounds in favor of tougher trance.

Would DIE to see a tour from Fleming & Lawrence, what are the odds of that?
