tape it up on the parts you dont want painted....

spray paint

Seen that one too. I have his trance energy set on video and he is using those. Doesn't look like paint though. It looks like some kind of plastic cover or its the color of the plastic, not painted. Thats what it looked like to me anyways. very unique

In that link it looks like those are the shells they sell on www.1200s.com, and as for the mauros headphones, as afr as I'm aware, a fan in Italy I beleive makes them for him, uses top custom paints to do it, even though they look sweet, I'd rather WOW someone with my mixing instead of how my gear looks.

If your gonna spray your equipment best to take it apart first.

Get a service manual for your deck/headphones or whatever, you can buy this for Technics decks dunno about other stuff tho. By doing this you have to say bye bye to your warranty but if its ran out and you know what your doing go for it.

I wouldn't use tape to cover up bits as paint drips and is wet so you don't wanna fcuk your kit up. Take off what you wanna spray and make sure you prep the surface well, you don't want it peeling off in about a month that would just look silly.

Picotto's headphones are sprayed, he has a fan that he sends them to and she does it for him, find him on the meganite forums and ask him who she is.

Looks kinda cluttered, but they are a really good deck, man don't go for a deck for the looks, otherwise you could end up getting some real crap, if you just want something that looks good, get a Gemini XL200 and some spray paint and go nuts, but for decks, it should be like this.

1. reliability
2. reliability
3. performance
4. ease of use
5. features
6. price (I know for many, this really is number one, but you get what you pay for)
7. looks

As far as cdjs go, i know the dns5000, and dns3000, have silver, gold, blue, and red stainless steel faceplates. Otherwise just tape it and spray it.

Use a bunch of masking tape if you get good decks...take a razor blade and carefully cut out around the parts you want painted, let the paint dry & then take off the masking tape.
