Geez speed, you're freakin' all over the place today! You alright, bud?

Well anyway, I really don't have any top 3 favorite tracks anymore. Even if I did I probably couldn't name them. I heard a Digital Witchcraft liveset a few months ago that was fantastic. Actually, that's really all I've been listening to and downloading - live sets. So instead of maybe my top 3 tracks, I'll just list what's in my car right now:

-Dave Seaman - live at Tribehous 9-4-04
-Andry Nalin - live at Tribehous 9-4-04
-Astroglyde (actually called Astro and Glyde now) - live on Kiss100FM 6-13-04
-Ty Tek - Sweat Sessions volume 1
-DJ Precision - live on TranceAirwaves 6-11-04
-PVD - Live at Powerzone 8-21-04

As you can see, as much as I thought I'd move straight into the Prog. scene, I still hold a place for some good trance.

Posted by Shakka on Nov-02-2004 21:41:

Hell, I barely know the names of the songs I listen to--I don't get as much time these days to really sit down and find good tunes. I'll have to check yours out. I probably like older stuff.

Shit! I need to go vote!

Posted by trancaholic on Nov-02-2004 22:08:

1: Zombie Nation - The Cut
2: Ellen Alien - Stadtkind (ages old - rediscovered it a little while ago)
3: Mylo - Drop the Pressure

As you can see, no real trance. My nick is becoming more of a joke for each day that passes. Oh btw. I'm mostly hooked on livesets these days. Basically everything I can find by Adam Beyer, Kleinenberg, or Chris Liebing.

Btw 2: This is actually a good topic speedracer!

Posted by Spacey Orange on Nov-02-2004 22:11:

Sometimes, I often wonder if anyone here actually listens to music, much less trance.

Posted by DrUg_Tit0 on Nov-02-2004 22:39:

Hehe, I almost forgot this was a trance related board...hmm, let's see...top 3 you say...it kinda changes for me from day to day, but currently, my top 3 would be something like this:

1. KMFDM - Megalomaniac
2. Apoptygma Berzerk - Eclipse
3. Rammstein - Stripped

Not really trance, but at least it's still electronic music.

Posted by JM on Nov-02-2004 22:58:

Alan Jackson - It's Five O'clock Somewhere
Tim McGraw - Live Like You Were Dying
Toby Kieth - Whiskey Girl

my listening preference these days is just about like this:

country - 50% of the time
edm - 40% of the time
downtempo - 10% of the time

i assume, within a year i will rarely listen to edm after about 5 years of nothing but trance and house/prog.

Newly songs, or top 3 songs of all time? heh.

Posted by Spacey Orange on Nov-02-2004 23:27:

Am i regular enough?

Energy 52 - Cafe del Mar
Signum - Push Through
Ryan G - Emoticon (Miika Kuisma Remix)

Posted by occrider on Nov-02-2004 23:47:

Hmmm good thread .

Let's see, I usually only listen to livesets and all my favs are pretty old:

1. Armin Van Buuren - Glow Washington live - 08-06-2002 (because I was there)
2. DJ Tiesto - Live at the Docks in Toronto - 2-23-01 (because I was there)
3. DJ Tiesto - Dutch Dimensions 01-4-01 (wish I was there)

Hmmm fav songs ... wow this is tough:

1. Salt Tank-Eugina (michael woods mix)
2. Flash - The Day After
3. Schiller - Ein Schoner Tag

Wow ... nostalgic. I don't really listen to that much trance anymore (except for when I go out) but I do seem to remember those as being some of my favorites ... and I'm too lazy to browse much deeper into my trance folder.

Can't really let this fine thread slip into oblivion already. No. Sorry. Too many regulars still need to post. Got to bump.

Posted by George Smiley on Nov-04-2004 15:05:

Surely this should be a top 10 thread?! I'm gonna struggle to keep it to three!! Oh well here goes...

Marc Dawn - Expander (both mixes)
Mauro Picotto - Lizard (RAF Mix)
Southside Spinners - Lovestruck (Atlantis ITA Mix)

How did you get this one? I have it ordered from Amazon, but they tell me it has yet to be released. You're not copying music are you?

Eh, he came through KC a few months ago. Thought I'd go see him, then I later turned it down. I still found his website and downloaded his music though. Good stuff.

Posted by St_Andrew on Nov-04-2004 22:35:

Since i came to canada i have been on modem, so that means no new music, really. but i still listen to 100% electronic music, mostly trance.

My top three would probably be live sets too!

Pvd live @ nature one 2004
Reckless girl - FM promo mix (a house DJ i met at my school, really talented )
Random @ winamp on all my saved mp3s from before

Posted by BadBadNeil on Nov-04-2004 23:06:

I dont keep track of new music much anymore. I do like trance, house, breaks, etc though but I play mostly older tunes, with an occassional new track or mix if I find one I like.

Posted by LiquidX on Nov-04-2004 23:33:

heck.. I'll just post 3 random out of my top 10.

Jose Amnesia - The Eternal
Sasha - Xpander
Energy 52 - Cafe del Mar

Alll old classixx..

Argh. Never order from amazon.de, I guess. They had some CDs that .uk didn't have, though.

EDIT: Btw. you can't buy stuff like this in Denmark. We're sooo open minded, except when it comes to entertainment...

Posted by occrider on Nov-05-2004 07:39:

Who are the last 3 or 4 DJs you guys have attended? I'm curious because when I used to live in Pittsburgh I used to go to nearly every rave and every local Djs ... since then, I've exclusively gone to relatively well known DJs. My last 4:

1. AVB (last weekend)

2. Christopher Lawrence

3. MIKE - AKA PUSH

4. Marco V
