yu know I never thought about it , but I guess no everyone reads every thread I know I don't , My apologies to Rabbit if I offended you , its been a long tiring week working all night on the Destiny Show , I am now in the process of reworking the Dj booth to suit Sneak , Lack of sleep and a short temper today hasn't helped, yes I work there

I was the one that put the where are the TOTA's on the screen back in the Gods kitchen events.
Since I am the Technical Director I do get good scoops on who is coming or not.

what i wanna know is why.
that other venue looked amazing.
I agree I was going to the film studio event myself , but then last night we got an internal email saying the event had moved to the docks

if this is true, i'd prolly say due to lack of ticket sales .. that Jumbo stage looked huge , something like 1.5x larger than the Koolhaus..
then again this event doesn't seem to be too well advertised in my opinion .. haven't seen or heard ads of it anywhere , save 1 or 2 websites here and there !
I'd hope the ticketing agents contact ticket buyers to let them know.

"Due to municipal permit difficulties, Emerge Entertainment has had to move the Fatboy Slim event scheduled for Nov. 10th, 2004 to The Docks (11 Polson St.). The Docks will be transformed into an interactive environment based around Fatboy Slim's "Slash Dot Dash" video which will enable all event goers to "leave their mark" behind.
The event remains licensed (19+) and doors will open at 9pm.
All tickets purchased for Toronto Film Studios will be honored at The Docks."
personally i'd like to know what kinda 'municipal permit difficulties' they encountered..

EXACTLY why i was shocked to see it at a film studio to begin with. I once asked someone if a party could be held there, and I got the impression that it couldn't.
Too good to be true...
wow... have I been blind or has this not really been promoted for at all anywhere online??? wish I would've heard about this earlier so i could've made plans to go. ahhh well... 
i guess i should look at the event listings more often... suprising there aren't more people excited about this *shrug*
