well to put it this way CNN is the more credible source. fox news is like das Bild IMO. but CNN just made a few predictions (z.B. michigan) that arent fully true.

bottom line follow CNN.

edit-i would compare CNN to BBC (i think they give the best news www.bbc.co.uk). all depends on Ohio, which we wont know for a few days.

it's mainly those guys from the US-midlands who made him come back. people with a totally different (and yet smaller) view of the world.
They just want bush to bring the peace in in "Peacetown Community"

gg...i recently talked to an American Prof. at my University...he was like...teh US population can be devided into 2 grps..one that cares about teh rest of the world and an other one that just thinks god (mr. fluffy bush) is in the white house and wont change a president in war he will lead us through the bad times...
..i wont comment this...i really hope kerry makes it...

hahahahah... HAHAHAHA...

CNN, Washington Times, and more = More reliable, Conservative, Favor's republican

Fox, Washington Post = more libral, favor's democrat's

BUT THE REGULAR NEWS STATIONS DIDN'T DO EXIT POLLS... ESPECIALLY BECAUSE MANY TIMES FOX NEWS WAS REPORTING EXIT POLL RESULTS WHEN AS LITTLE AS 7% OF PRECINTS REPORTED IN!

Isn't it amazing that the states and district that were attacked on 9-11 - New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Washington D.C. vote against Bush - how could that be - only Dubya can provide protection from terrorism - I mean come on, it's hard work

The people closest to the terrorist attacks voted aginst bush because they are the most informed, the most involed, and the most intelligent states. Everyone here in the tri-state area was deeply affected by 9/11, and we wanted answers. So many of us, as intelligent ppl usually do, researched and got informed about why, and how it happened. As for the rest of the country, you're talking about ignorant southern folk who are skeptical of chnage and trust someone similar to themselves. Bush appeals to the ignorant middle and southern American because he himself is ignorant.

I was really hoping Kerry could carry the vote, but Bush's hold on this country's perception of a leader is very strong. And the media only pushed that along further by jumping on every attempt by Bush to manipulate the public.

The stats are coming in-Bush will take Ohio.
It truly is a sad day in America.

it is. it makes me really sad to see how half the people in this country can not see how BAD a president like bush is, it makes me really sad to even live in this country at the moment and to be an american at this point in history.

These are also states which tend to be liberal too

EDIT: Oops, meant to say regions...DC isn't quite a state lol

Posted by Vlad on Nov-03-2004 17:48:

Ok heres the difference between CNN and Fox News.

CNN is liberal (Democrat bias)
Fox News is conservative (Republican bias)
- simple as that

Yes, Fox News called Ohio early for Bush, but they did the research and predicted that Kerry wouldnt have enough votes to over take Bush in that state. CNN waited, and is still waiting in hopes that Kerry would somehow pull 140,000 votes out of the air - eventhough Kerry conceded, that way they would have something to talk about if some miracle happened.

My opinion is Fox is the quickest when it comes to these things, whoever does their numbers is really good.
