Clinton for President!!! (Hilary, that is...)

Saw some comentator last night touting Hilary Clinton to be the next US President and as I cannot possibly think that GW Bush will not totally fuck America up now he doesn't have to bother about being reelected ( ) I think the Democrats will storm the next election! Would you like to see Hilary as the next democratic candidate? Do you think she has what it takes? And can the religious right even bare the thought of a w-o-m-a-n becoming President?!

Man, you're so naive. Didn't this election teach you anything?

I prefer the term optermistic than naive!

Be Cool!

I prefer Hillary to Bush, but I would not have her anywhere near my first choice for '08.

American/Dont want Hillary.

As ive said a few times, I think the chances are good that the 08 Republican ticket will feature John Mccain and Rudy Giuliani. I would almost certainly vote for them, though alot can change in 4 years...

i think this election really proves that america is not ready for a woman president.

Posted by Spacey Orange on Nov-04-2004 00:29:

its not that she's a woman, but that she may be a terrible candidate depending, of course, on who the repub nominee will be. in all likelyhood, she's not going into the whitehouse as resident. as a guest, maybe

Posted by tribu on Nov-04-2004 01:09:

I would vote for a qualified women president, though not for Hillary . For example I thought Carol Moseley-Braun would have made a nice choice for the Democrats, regardless of her past...er...misdeeds.

How bout Anne Coulter?

have the US even had a woman candidate ever?

Posted by LiquidX on Nov-04-2004 01:43:

Hillary would b great. She's done great stuff, and she would appeal to the moderate republicans.. so that would b a great choice. I've heard of Edwards running as well..

Depends who you ask.

Green Party ran with a woman as a Vice Presidential candidate this year (Pat Lamarche), but I cant say for certain if there has ever been a presidential one. Hillary Clinton would not be a good way to break the ice, IMO, but if Gore can ride Bill's coattails to the nomination, why not Hillary?

This sounds pretty unlikely to me, but only time will tell

yes, geraldine ferraro (sp) was the the demo vp nominee in 1984 on the mondale ticket, that lost in an electoral landslide (i think the demos only won 3 states!

Hitlary.....That liberal lunatic...I'd throw her in a cage full of bears

Posted by icyhandofcrap on Nov-05-2004 06:54:

Heck, I would even go for McCain / Giuliani.

Posted by josh4 on Nov-05-2004 06:56:

It wouldn't be horrible to see Hilary as a president. But I wouldn't want to see her run, she'd get rapped. No way she could win. Then we'd be back where we are now for another 4 years.

Hell in 8 more years of Bushes there might not be such a thing as Democrats.

I can smell the Democratic Party Ticket in 2008:

Hillary/JesseJackson 08

WINNING Combination

I don't know about the validity of that statement. Most republicans I know, moderate to extreme, absolutely loathe Mrs. Clinton.

Hillary Clinton would be able to solve many foreign relations problems with her great skills; as pictured below.
