Political Discussion or American Political Discussion?

Do any of you have anything better to do? Really, here is a picture.

Each circled item has to do with America in a way. All of them reposts off one another. To all of you I say repost x 32094723048723084732984230362892364329786390824643980246283640823740923479023794802737894. That picture has 22 threads, 20 about Americans. So to all of you making those posts I have the following questions I ask you to respond to:

A) Are you obsessed with America and their culture?
B) Is it cool to hate Americans?
C) How oftern are you talking about America?
D) Do you and the world revolve around America?
E) Are you using America bashing as an escape from your own rotten lives?

With that being said I feel that this forum should be renamed to 'American Political Discussion'. Is seems asthough nothing else is happening out there so there would be no point to having a 'World Political Discussion'.

Get over it.

A) Yes, I am American
B) Southern Americans ( i.e Texas, Oklahoma, Mississippi,ect.) Not all Americans.
C) As much as I can, especially after a national election
D) Yes
E) No

It's Election time in America, and TA has many Americans, what do you expect, silence?

err... lack of threads I mean?

I expect their to be maybe 3-4 threads on the same things. All of those threads are like broken records, they just keep repeating.

I call it here, the next wave of threads is going to be about how Bush cheated to win, right?

Isn't it a nice break from the thousands of Israeli Palestinian / Iraq threads?

We in the U.S. just had a pretty close election and a lot of people are not happy with the result and expressing it or just venting. I agree there are a lot of repetitive threads and quite honestly I can;t believe no other issues are being discussed on a political forum with people brought together by a style of music with world appeal. DJ Tom, the US election is the most important thing to happen in the world right now so why do you think that nobody would be discussing it?!

To be fair, we'd all talk about Canada but there is nothing to talk about so America will have to do...

And if you are so pissed off about people discussing America why don't you start a nice interesting thread about something you have been thinking about recently instead of starting a thread about.........America

And for all those Americans crying because everybody is talking just about America dont be so bloody small minded and ignorant. The US elections affect the rest of the world just as much and in a lot of cases such as in Muslim countries the election will affect them more than it will affect Americans...

All this threads bitching about bush could be summed up in a line
'An order of French Cries and a Wha Burger to go please'

Whatever the US does, it affects the world one way or another, so this election will influence what could happened in the world, even Canada.

The US is the most powerfull country in the world, so yes, every other country cares what happens in America, because, one way or another, it will affect them.. economically, environmentally.. and.. WAR wise. Is not that hard to see Tom. If it was some other powerfull country doing what the US is doing, Id believe we'd be talking about it as well.

I know, I am not trying to low ball how much America effects Canada (or the world). But the majority of these threads are about people bitching. I am bitching about those bitching about America. Make sense?
