Smoking ..umm..something Dark Alliance - Genetic / Vibration

OMG what a stormer tracks!
Anybody knows who stands behind this project? I heard something about Fred Baker.

Genetic sounds like Mojado - El Toro (it has very similiar sounds) and Vibration like Frank Biazzi - Turbulence.

It's Fred Baker, Terry Bones & Another guy, greg something I think

The reason it sounds similar to Mojado is that Fred was originally part of that project with dimitri andreas & mr sam before sam shafted him over but that's another story, these tracks here are fred proving he can make the style better

Please tell me about that. Mr Sam kicked Fred Baker from Mojado project? Was it before El Toro?

before the first relase.... Rather than being bitter tho, Fred's just gone on & making better tunes than the mojado ones

I dont think the Mojado tunes are bad
But when Fred Baker left Mojado before Naranja, how is possible, that El Toro and Genetic have same sounds? Are they using the same sound fx machine?

i personally think all of this crappy bad techno that fred has made post naranja is terrible. it just sounds like a random mish mash of crappy "techy" sounds and the odd wankified vocal in it. it doesnt have a techno groove at all yet it is far from being structured and detailed enough to be tech trance.

Well, I accept your opinion, even I dont agree with you This kind of techno completely owns me, the stuff Mojado, Fred Baker, Max Walder,... are making. I think it sound very pounding in a club.

Agreed... regarding Genetic. Thought Vibration was awesome though... simple yet really solid & powerful.

I think that just did it for me, ...
Don't wanna have this if that is really true, but I'm not the worst, ...

where can I hear the samples?

Posted by EverZ on Nov-13-2004 00:09:

These tracks, especially Genetic are not good and innovative enough. The sounds are too familiar, i hear tunes from different other Fred Baker productions. He should not recycle his stuff like this. I liked the Fred Baker techy stuff he made, but it needs to progress. He could start by dropping the shitty vocal samples and not recycle stuff like the El Toro sample like he did in Genetic.

Lot's of respect for all the tracks he makes and i can't wait for his new track, but this release is not good.

Vibration rox and destroys any dancefloor.
Like it did in TiC.be and the last time i saw tiesto live in oostende.be (illusion beach).

A side is not my thing though...

Mindblowing track, I went crazy when Tisto spun this @ Hasselt!
