All the Blue states on the electoral map...

are the best places to live in the US IMO

Just look at the break down on the map (http://www.cnn.com). The blue has the lovely west coast. California has the worlds 8th LARGEST economy not to mention the best weather. It is the center of the American high-tech sector. All the great cities of the country (NY, SF, LA, Seattle, Chicago, Philly etc)...all the truly cosmopolitan places are in the blue areas

The only decent places in the red areas are Miami, Vegas, and some cities in Texas

But most of the American economy thrives where? In the Blue states
Most of those red states like Kansas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Idaho...lol. Have any of you been there? F*ucking (pardon my French) boring lame piles of feces they are. Trust me...I had to stay in several of those mid-western/southern states for a couple of months. I would have blown my brains out if I didnt get out of there.

Well its the stupid damn useless loser hicks that mobilized this time. These idiots still believe in Creationism and they want their beloved Bush! Ohhh he has such high Morals

Keep your Morals...as the country goes into the economic shithole I'm sure your bible will comfort you damn hicks.

The EU is already the largest economy. China will soon be number 1. The decline of American hegemony is here and I gladly await it

Actually, it will.

And, btw, all trends point to an economy that is growing. The NYSE didn't jump 275 pts in 2 days for no reason.

no it jumps because most market traders hate Kerry and love Republican ideals of low taxes and a blind SEC. But eventually the multi-trillion dollar debt will catch up to us. Im guessing around the same time the EU gets its act together, China starts having district elections, and we start importing German, Manchurian, and Indian culture faster than the greesy kid at White Castle can slap down your stack of 12 burgers (which are, btw, DAMN GOOD).

You can definitely see it if you take a cross country or very long car ride through the states. I drove down to North Carolina from NJ (where I live) for a vacation one year and as you drive down you can see the differences; I just think it's because the Northeast is very urban (we have Boston & NYC) and the west coast has Los Angeles, etc.

At the bottom of the chart, it does say not to take it as fact. It still is a very interesting chart. Anyone know how old the data is?

Actually Canada is on the verge of breakup as well.

Maybe there will be a totally new North American configuration soon.

I live in NY, my IQ is 126 and I voted for Bush.

Thing is, those major cities and states are heavily diverse and have alot of people 18-30 voting. The majority of minorities tend to vote Democrat and so do young people in college.

you are from NJ...the third "smartest" state...you should be able to mind meld with the chart to figure out when it was published and how accurate it is....right???
