Smile allow me to introduce myself.....

hey guys whats up. i never really got to introduce myself to the ppl on this site (especially after that friggin Sensation fiasco, which didnt help me gain friends in any way lol), so ill take this oppurtunity to say whats up, and as a DJ and producer, ill let my music do the talking..... i live in Jersey, and im moving to Europe next year to study international political/economical relations in Italy, where i have a residency that i already signed into contract this past summer. i love tech trance, hard trance, hardstyle, and basically nething thats very energetic and not TOOOO mellow. ive spun at a lot of clubs in Italy but only NYC teen nights over here. im kinda known as "dat DJ dat play dat hot shytt dat i neva heard of yoo" LOL (all the other teen night DJs play songs that are 6 years old... i stay away from playing traxx that are 6 months old!! lol). i have a weekly internet radio show on Sundays from 7-9, its nothing big, im kinda waiting to hear back from Party 107 to see when i start spinning for that station. sorry to bore u, so, like i said b4, ill let the music do the talking.... heres 3 of my latest productions, i really hope u like them. the link i uploaded them to only allows 25 downloads and/or 7 days to pass until it becomes obsolete, so DL THEM QUICK!!! i hope u like my tracks, and please leave some feedback, i would appreciate it!

DJ ECO :: "nothing is everything"
LEFT CLICK and another window will open in which the download will begin in 10 seconds
this is a more melodic track, and not hard like the other 2 tracks here. i made this a few months ago and brought it with me to try and hand to PvD @ Summer Stage (but that didnt work lol) hope u like it

DJ ECO vs. SPACE BROTHERS :: "everywhere i go 2004" (DJ Eco mix)
LEFT CLICK and another window will open in which the download will begin in 10 seconds
this is my remix of the classic "everywhere i go" by SPACE BROTHERS. my favorite remix is the PvD one, but in all the mixes (the PUSH one and the original and the PvD one), i thought there was a lack of energy, a lack of a harder beat which culda made it more epic. there4 i took it upon myself to remix it with some great new synths for the classic melody and a more energetic beat and bassline. hope ya like it!

DJ ECO :: "rythm of the nightlife"
LEFT CLICK and another window will open in which the download will begin in 10 seconds
i did a kinda Scot Project-ish type of hard trance track with this one. i took the female diva vocals from CORONA's classic house tune "rythm of the night" and formed a very energetic hard trance track around it. i hope u like this one as well

....i have dozens of other tracks ive made over the years, ive been producing since i was 12. i also have some sets of mine if u want.... and i hope i dont come off as an "attention whore" writing a whole post about myself and my tracks... if i did, then im sorry, didnt mean it, i just wanted to say whats up to u guys and hopefully clear up those credibility issues as a DJ/party thrower that arose from the Sensation bullshit i still hope u guys liked the traxx!!! and feel free to spin them (if ur a DJ) and feel free to IM me, my sn is.... hugmeimadj.... id love to send over some of my sets from my radio show and some live sets from me in Italy

Productions sound ok... But im not into the whole drown everything with reverb.... Less effects is better IMO... If you can make a good track with little or no effects... Your on the right track...

Whats up man. Don't worrie about that bull shit man. Most of us are forgiving people around here. Just ignore the assholes. Ill download your mixes when I return to the states and let you know what I think.

Eco: what do you use for remix and producing?

Posted by DJ Eco on Nov-05-2004 18:49:

FL, for the most part
ACID, to edit things here and there
SOUND FORGE, to edit samples individually

most ppl go "NO WAY!!" when i tell them i use FL. ive been using it for a long time so i use it to its full potential.

I gotta get some pointers from u then hun cuz I dont find it to be very user friendly to a newb and I dont think I am using it to its full potential.
