It's cool Pete! Hope you're doing well. I need to talk to you about your records man.

Fuck I enjoyed last night! Wish you could've made it Pete, I felt that Dave and I played a top set.

The venue was refreshing. The haunted house that was being run by Travis was being packed up this week and he decided to throw a last minute party in the building at the end of his lease, so what we walked into was a dark warehouse with a simple but very nice sound and lighting setup, and a little chill area with some couches and a bar consisting of a bathtub full of ice and beer. I was impressed, seeing as it was all organised and set up in about 48 hours. Not only was it good to play live after what seems like so long, but I love venues like this and it was great to play in one. Seems like every party thrown in these parts has to be at a club or a bar, otherwise the authorities are all over it, so it was great to get away from the julios and the posers and play to an appreciative crowd.

We rocked up at about 10:45, which happened to be when Dave and I were supposed to be spinning... luckily we'd talked to Travis and he had pushed everyone back because of some logistical issues (the guy bringing his mixer got lost.. hhahaha). The first DJ of the night had just got on the decks... I think it was Grommit, but may have been Pofessa Drew, dunno. He played some decent tracks, some of which lacked the energy that Dave and I were planning to tear into people's arseholes with. At about 11:30 or so Travis gave us the nod and as we had agreed, (Dave and I were playing a vs. set), I opened with the first 3 tracks:

1) Mike & Charlie - I Get Live (Fatboy Slim Remix)
2) Murphy Brown & Nu NRG - Aloa P (Mr. Pink Remix)
3) Members Of Mayday - 10 in 1 (Paul van Dyk Remix)

By this time there were about 20 or so people on the dancefloor, and even though the crowd probably topped out at 75-100, the energy was great and and some points most of them were dancing. Then Dave proceeded to own. We were playing 3 tracks each for most of the set (Dave's shown in blue).

4) System F - Spaceman (Matti Laamanen Remix)
5) Barthezz - On The Move (Dumonde Remix)
6) F Massif - Somebody (Ferry Corsten Remix)

7) Dark Monks - Insane (Steve Murano Vocal Remix)
8) Timeok - Seven Floating Ways (Octagen Remix)
9) DJ Kim - Jetlag (Alphazone Remix)

10) Ace's Delight - Mental Theme (Ace's Hell On Earth Remix)
11) Matti Laamanen - Flakes (Original Mix)
12) Condor - Velvet Dreams (Skylight Remix)

13) Nu NRG - Dreamland (Original Remix)

14) System F feat. Armin van Buuren - Exhale (Armin van Buuren Remix)
