Xone:92 CTRL

Here is something pretty cool looking. All the MIDI options and stuff on this bad boy could let you rip it up if you knew what you were doing. I want one

This has been posted a couple times before, but Search is probably still messing up right now anyway, but its a sick mixer, I'm really starting to get into MIDI equipment, my guess is its gonna be a big part of the future, maybe one day I'll get the chance to spin on one of these, hope so.

So... are they selling these, or just showing them off?

Posted by D Dubya on Nov-05-2004 21:47:

just showing them off it looks like.... selfish bitches.

damn thats a bad ass mixer...gonna have to sell the Empath and step up to that when there available.

Posted by 3xx3r7 on Nov-05-2004 23:03:

Is there a rotary version available, like for the regular 92?

Posted by nrjizer on Nov-09-2004 10:23:

According to chatter on A&H forums, there is no plan to put these into production.

Why the fancy site for them then? Damn Hawtin just showing off his toys

Very cool mixer.

Holy shit!!! I got a Xone:62, but adding Midi to that would be sick!

I suppose if you were a dj of the calibre of hawtin and you had the money they'd make you something similar.

Posted by Vlad on Nov-09-2004 20:00:

Im sure a custom deal like that would run like $5k

Yeah I would, but I wouldn't give it it's own fancy webpage complete with Flash intro, music, and technical run downs on the thing. The whole site feels like an advertising ploy for it, yet there's no plan to put them into production. That's just showing off.

nrjizer:
Do you have any links to the A&H forums that you mentioned. I'd like to check it out.

thanks.

This isn't A&H's site tho, it's richie hawtin's.

I don't think he's trying to market the mixer, just give his fans a better idea as to what he uses when dj'ing.

Yes, but go to www.xone.co.uk (which is run by A&H), the CTRL has it's own section, with a link that says "click to learn more" which brings you to Hawtin's CTRL website.

Cool. never realised that.

I suppose you can look at it like F1 cars. Ferrari etc all show these top of the line F1 cars that only a chosen few will drive but they will never be released to the general public.

I suppose the ctrl is like the equivilent of an F1 car

In that case, if I had my choice, sorry boys.... I'd have to take the Ferrari
